The imagery and the very beginning did NOT prove to go to waste at all. I really felt torn open (in a good way) but this one as the poem progressed.
By the end, "by moving away" I honestly really felt it fit from so many perspectives, from a personal one, a conceptual one, and even a meta level as if written by the poem itself or the author as if they are RIGHT here, RIGHT now in this moment.
And I think that lended itself to the sentimentality of it for me.
Thanks for sharing! Loved it ❤️ Nice use of devices anda nice form. I enjoyed the partial symmetry but the freedom it offered. It would be cool to see this on a graphic for sure I think as well.
