I woke up from a nightmare and now I'm in heaven.
Thus my story began, but of what I knew you did not know.
In a seated grove, the sun caresses my cheek.
I'm waiting for a wild beast to make trouble for me.
With heavy steps the beast comes towards me; fearless
I turned myself into a sly vixen.
Thus begins the rush, we run in a frenzy;
We hide from ourselves from day to night.
My red fox body if ever gets tired,
But the mirror of the lake is her worst enemy.
My fox's mind is faster than sound.
She flies over the branches, not even the wind defeats her.
She is free in her realm, charming spirit.
But in her mind she says to herself: "I feel the end is near".
Before her she looked in vain, for she,
Couldn't jump over the chasm.
Suddenly she sees the Lord above, the demon below...
The beast snatches her, knocks her down...she will not wake from her last sleep.
My fox's robe fell at my feet.
I kneel on the cold ground...it seems numb.
Cried my eye under a burning light;
I feel two protective palms on my bare shoulders.
He has a human-like body, an angelic face,
He slashed his way towards me with a lightning sword.
His locks flow down a pale back,
Jewels flow from his parting lips
That say to me: "Take care of her"...
His warm palm, my cheek wants to caress.
But I just want to hear his words of love.
