Naturally Flawless

How it is that "they" are perfect.

Am I?

Expressing the qualities that i express,

Natural as i may be,

Supernatural as i am,

that much must be obvious.

Then how should i not revel at each cosmic turn

that your physiology takes?

The physical miracle that your soul filled personality faces?

Faced in such a manner

i couldn't consider it to be anything less than the purest form of perfection.

Flawless, as they might call a diamond, who's crystalline structure has been cut

into timeless brilliance.

Catching the smallest amounts of light,

Your smile shines to me brighter to me than any star in the night sky, or the moon

or even the sun during the highest peak of day.

And it is flawless! is it not?

It is most definitely timeless.

Born naturally uncut from the unparalleled brilliance of your soul.

I'd say to you now, my own official appraisal____

"You're Perfect".

I would expand it, but at the moment I wrote it, I wanted to keep it short and simple… to the effect of conveying a message

I feel you're swapping meters back and forth organically and naturally - so it feels like some of my work at times (or other particular free verse - free verse VARIES a lot IMO - tons of nuance in the types of meter; the idea it's just 'unmetered', I believe at least, is highly reductive to a glaring fault
