#To the poets

When the rhyme has gone,
and the meaning ends,
do you count your words
or do you make them bend?

When the reader writes,
and the poet reads,
do you leave them likes
or do you give them gifts?

When the hearts don't match,
and the attention fades,
do you question your talent
and do you surrender to hate?

When you hit the keys,
and explore the net,
do you wager your confidence
as you expose your self?

The competition with the void is quite unruly,
when you write you should strive to write truly.
Ask questions, as to whom and for whom your precious words are.
Do not waste the beauty of your mind,
for clout, or fame without glory.

If your native language is not English, the texts usually do not rhyme.
