God, I am sad
God, talk to me
Have I done bad?
Am I not close what I was meant to be?
This pain makes you hard to see
I sit and I ponder

Lost in thought
Lost in the scars this world brings
Is my chance for joy shot?

But sadness over consumes

The Holy Spirit cheering me on
This nasty game tho feels like a con
1 step forward 2 steps back
The grand prize I’m unable to hack
Do I keep on trying?
This joy they’re denying?
