#Power

The word choices are ethereal in their positions and meaning.
The poem itself does have that nice structure as nateo mentioned. I like the nature of the poem aswell. It's not something you just chucked together, the meaning is thoughtful.
It is also quite direct and harsh-hitting, it creates a sense of liberation or self-empowerment, which clearly you wanted to highlight in the name of the poem.
I see power here in two ways. The power of the speaker and then the subject to whom this dramatic monologue is directed to. The speaker is almost lamenting on the very nature of the subject and focusing on their gritty details with that visceral imagery. I can feel the emotion from the lexical fields and usage of exclamation marks. But this poem shows how the subject is undergoing a loss of power, while they themselves gain power through their understanding and liberation of knowledge.
"Do not" is immediately a command and "I said" is also direct. This shows how the speaker is gaining that power and taking control for themselves.
The last couplet is in a sense, mastered. It rhymes, it even has internal rhyme. This could be suggestive of the internal nature of the subject as is also clearly stated throughout the entire poem and the couplet itself. This sense of mastery may show that the speaker has gained power, the speaker is now ontop of the power dynamic. It is also directed at the subject itself and almost shows pity but also understanding and knowledge, which is another form of poem. The subject is in a sense, gullible, while the speaker understands that their very nature is going to be their "self damnation".
Honestly, I love this poem. It is well-made and thought of. You are extremely talented Mina, and I am graced to have seen this poem!
Knowledge to me is a form of power. It is shown throughout the entire poem. The idea that the speaker has the ability to SENSE but then also elaborate more deeply on it with their words. It clearly shows they know alot.
My dear friend you are between a few who would see the rhyme inside the verse. You are as well so awsome for sensing exactly what i wanted to express in the poem.
