An ant sculpted after atlas
The communal bees sharing honey for our tea
Fireflies illuminate the blanket we lay
In the darkness of your absence I find a reason to stay
Here in the night I'll wait with glee
On the carpet of moss each animal sits , looking for the presence to remove all malice
My feet turned to stone as if unable to have feigned actress
All roots have taken place for I could not dare leave
With your photo my heart is entrenched where the flower bed reflects the light of day
Even if I grew wings and were asked to lead you beyond, I couldn't stray
As God as my witness ill carry the weight of the cosmos for as long as I grieve
And grieve I must until I see you again , your photo will become my remnant mattress
In the sheets underneath grass here I'll pray
Some day the beloved will be reprieved
And in it I'll rise to lift the burden, to carry the weight of an aphrodisiac's sadness
In the desire for lust on earth a flower will grow madness
Oh to be buried in the riches of love that had been royalty
Once my heart had been returned than I could find the warmth in gray
