Waterfall. Help me rhyme

**Waterfall **
`Wall of boulders painted at the top
with unstoppable white streaks
falling torrents gush down to creeks
where treasures lie hidden away from toy shops

Crushing water pressures pouring hope
onto jagged granite in drumming silence
my rough edges melt under your patience

a journey tedious and tearful
Our aching feet are making swirly whirlpools
playing with smooth stones, proof of perseverance

Roast this piece & suggest how to complete an ABBA ACC DDC pattern with:

• line 4 rhyming with "top". "Toy shop" is a weak choice
• the last line rhyming with "patience". I'd like a stronger ending
  I'm super weak at rhyming. I tried word association, online rhymer & thesaurus. What's the higher level techniques to try? Need your help 🙂

top and two don't really click for me. I would perhaps change it to flop, chop, whop, lop...

Maybe try changing the patience to license? see how you like it

swirly to fuss and change the whirlpools to highness or any other word that might rhyme

The poem in general is very good but I could dare you to use more internal rhyme rather than ending

I do have to say the cadence of the lines differ a lot between lines, if you have a lot of repeat in cadence you can get away with words at the end not really rhyming a lot more

ooh I dont know what internal rhyme would be like in all its variation. Honestly I'm just practicing end rhyme since it is easiest to detect

Very good place to begin with but in the start you might begin to use two word endings that rhyme like two and flop to get used to the more “more rhyme in one sentence” so it wouldn’t feel messy and confusing

just edited, incorporating y'alls suggestion. Rhyming is definitely a contortionist exercise 🥲 I'm still open to suggestions. "toy shop" is a cop-out
