Seeking the blank paper,
I tore the cover of it's roots,
With the scar of a murderer,
I walked the forest alone,
Bloody is that path my feet chose,
And bodiless was the soul walking it.
For every step I took,
The trees' judging eyes followed,
Enraged or frightened, I'm not sure,
But definitely hateful.
I walked and walked and walked,
Till Darkness cocooned this earthly shell,
Then I slept, and slept, and slept,
Till darkness was no more,
And to my heart was the surprise,
That this vessel o' mine,
Became a leafy monarch,
Chained with greenery,
Forever to earth's prison,
A murderer no more.
