Achilles
Tragedy oh tragedy
How the wind carries a souls brace.
Feeling grass blades cut into my soft hands.
The morning dew trembles under the weight.
Must I reflect upon my face.
Sitting under the strong coarse tree bark is a memory.
Roots uphold the strength of limbs.
To find peace and balance.
A necessary reflection to protect our treasury.
Tragedy oh tragedy
A feudal dispute can be fatal.
Hubris to fight a sun.
For revenge on the skin of our men.
How silly is the men who act as if the earth is faithful.
We all carry burdens of grey hair.
Stomachs that don’t fit.
Not enough of a spine to sit right.
Love lost due to affair.
Tragic hero’s of our own story.
To recognize the downfall and build.
A hazard mess can be missed.
Til death do us apart love is mourning.
