#Desync, Doubling, Despawn

We had a strange effect yesterday on multiplayer where cars literally dissapeared in a base, and later where found in other locations, maybe the start location for the vehicle.
Strangly there was a new player who lockpicked and hotwired some cars in the same time elswhere, so it may be that the cars really where at their original location as a double. After lockpicking, and hotwiring them I think they may have despawned. I saw some overlapping times in the log.
Unfortunately, the provider experienced a general outage shortly afterward, so we all lost access to the server for a while and couldn't continue monitoring the situation.
However, I had noticed in the past that objects often load when you approach a location that are no longer there, and then disappear again shortly afterward, as if the local environment is only then being updated.

Generally, I also have the feeling that each player brings their own "reality," which could possibly explain the desync problems. It's sometimes as if each player brings "their" game environment, and the game then tries to synchronize them.
