Saves deleted???? | VEIN | Page 1

I have yet to find a cause for it but sometimes when i go to load a save all of my autosaves from that playthrough gets deleted. This is the second time I have had this happen and i know it was not me accidently deleting all saves or anything because my playthough with a different friend group is still there.

if there is any way i can either recover the saves or if there are any logs I should send to help figure out whats causing this then please let me know.

Navigate to the save files in the appdata area I believe check there or main root folder of the game

all that is there is "steam_autocloud.vdf" I'm assuming that means I have steam cloud enabled and my saves are most likely not recoverable

Have you checked just root folder or appdata?

Yea check root game folder as it used to be in there also

If yes try moving it to appdata folder where you find autosave thing

the stuff that is showing in the root are the autosaves from one session that is already showing ingame

#

and i should prob mention that the saves dissappeared without me even relaunching the game

this most recent time was this morning at about 12:20am i crouched in the bed of my truck and it flew across the map so i went to run it back to the most recent autosave and all the autosaves from this playthrough are all just gone

and I also noticed the only autosaves that are still there are from the 9th at 12:12

Oh double check your settings to see if autosaves are on or off

Or how many autosaves allowed etc

I didnt se that setting all the way at the bottem of the gameplay tab "maximum autosave count 10"

So once it hits 10 it doesn't overwrite the oldest autosave?
