#lights not working - and a short term workaround

Apparently if you leave your base for awhile - the lights are on and everything is working - and come back to your base at night the overhead lights don't work. A quick work around is to save the game and reload, and walla, lights are on again. I've recreated this condition several times.
Fuse box is connected to battery, battery to solar, it is listed as incoming, and I have a backup generator. I have tried starting the generator as well, but it made no difference.
When you come back to the base, no lights work, but the electric fridge and stoves are all functioning (stove is on in pic), so it is a light only issue. It is not a connection issue, as you can see my lights work all day and they are on after a reload. I went ahead and made sure that my house was disconnected from the grid so that wasn't an issue. It also isn't a bulb issue, as I have replaced fully functional bulbs with no change.

update. Upon a little further testing, apparently the in game (game rendered ?) lights will go out, but the player crafted lights will not. It also doesn't have to be dark out per say, just dusk/early evening for the lights to go out in the base.

So I did what I did before, do a quick save, reload (without exiting to main) and upon reload everything is on (solo game)

@royal crest @tropic rain since you two spend a lot of time answering questions in the forums, thought you might want some info

I'll try and test later, ty

Yes, please try it solo, I have no idea if it happens in multiplayer. Look forward to seeing if there is a discrepancy to what I have found

Here are the outside light conditions (not dark), but note that the in game overhead lights are all on.

I also increased the power shutoff length in game to 3 months when I started it. I have no idea if that has an effect. I mainly did it because I spend too much time testing stuff and not really just playing.

ok, left my base for about 20 minutes (IRL) or about 5 hours in game. I did notice that the wattage from the battery is not at 50k when I returned (which should happen when the sun is set). I noticed that it shows that the receiving connections are blank at night, which might be the issue, but again, the player crafted light is functional, but the game rendered lights are not. Again, the refrigerator and stove are on and work. So maybe it has more to do with what connections the player has made (stove, frig, light), than the game rendered objects. My next test will be to unwire the in game items and rewire them myself to see if it persists

#

Ok, so, with the power out, I unwired and rewired the garages overhead lights. They didn't come on. So i crafted a flourescent light, placed it on the ceiling, then hooked it to the fuse box and it worked.

#

It is definitely something with the coding on the game rendered lights

#

Ok, just to be sure, I made a player created floodlight, it worked. I thought maybe it is tied to the sun, waited for the sun to rise, casting a shadow on objects on roof (0700 game time), and the lights in the building did not come on. Player created lights continue to function, and the battery is back to 50k. Why all the flags on the roof -murica baby. I'm making the murica house, slowly but surely.

dammit, forgot to mention that this is at the general services building in dannemora
