#Add automatic food collect on the stove

I'm sure a bunch of us find no joy in watching the food cook and having to keep an eye on the stove incase the food burns. Could we possibly (if possible) add a way where the stove automatically collects the cooked food and goes onto the next food to cook without us having to wait and collect? It would be a cool feature to have. It means we could leave the stove to cook while we go off and do other things

doesnt make sense irl, you could do other things while waiting for the food to cook.

Most of the food takes anywhere between 30 seconds and 2 mins to cook but if you're cooking a whole bunch of food waiting around for it to finish isn't exactly fun and then having to keep checking it. It just be cool to have a feature where you can automatically collect the finished food 😅

in my opinion, adding qols stack slowly and make the game easier and detach from realism. Also you could bring multiple electrical stoves to your building aswell, basically multitasking. I'm certain that realism is one of the core aspect of the game and having a stove that automatically do everything related cooking for you doesnt seem like so.

Putting food and have it cooks itself is boring and lazy.

Not really lazy lol it's more so you can go off and do other things without having to stand there and wait for it to be finished cooking or if you get a horde or something you can sort that out without forgetting you've got the stove on or something 😅

that happens irl too, i had forgotten my cooking meal one day, and they turned into coal or something idk.

some food takes longer to cook, like that 1 meat that takes 2:10 mins. Just let it cook itself while you do things like crafting, sorting and moving things around. Yeah its a bit mentally consuming but it is what it is for a realistic game.

You dont just look at an egg while boiling them dont you

thats my opinion tho, ive seen way too many games that introduced lot of QoL, and some tasks just turn into chores.

I agree I like the realism part... but I also get what you are saying maybe making things like the microwave or a slow cooker could be things that can keep the realism while helping to solve the issue. I put stuff in a slow cooker all the time go to work and come back and have food without my house or the food burning.
