So I open Steam, then I open the game, the intro starts with the Jet logo and whatever epilepsy warnings and then, when the homepage of the game should appear, the screen just stays dark while hearing the sound of the game and then it closes with a crash message.
I need help.

#

says you have multiple GPU's... I'm guessin it's talking about the intergrated graphics with your cpu. make sure it's not selecting that gpu. I'm guessing you have nvidia gpu, press window key and type in Nvidia and open the Nvidia control panel, then manage 3d settings and where it says Preferred graphics processor, choose high performance

how to do that?

Easier than explaining it mate

Ok. I got on the game. but it seems like it's slow and kinda laggy. there's also some weird rendering problems on my screen

#

hopefully they'll get fixed soon

What GPU do you have?

Do you not know your own GPU?

#

RTX? AMD?

#

if its intergrated then good luck

My it’s RTX3070 Zotac with 8GB of VRAM

#

I got integrated too but it’s disabled for more power on CPU

#

Then I got something it’s called RAM and VRAM could share together but I didn’t now the Name of it, It’s possible on some Mainboards it’s Insane if you got 64GB then your Graphiccard could take perhaps 32GB of it 😉

im more so on about the main OP's setup as hes the one complaining about performance etc

#

the dev also asked the main OP.

In Windows or the BIOS, this is often called:
• “Shared GPU Memory”
• “UMA Frame Buffer Size” (on AMD APUs in the BIOS)
• “DVMT Pre-Allocated” (on Intel GPUs in the BIOS)
• “Integrated Graphics Share Memory”

#

It’s the Only one way to check the BIOS if that it’s not turned on perhaps it helps

#

The other thing is to check background Apps disable all not you needed

I have no idea how I can run it on this laptop but it runs, at lowest settings, at about 30fps😅

#

the MX150 has 2gb of vram😂

and i have a severe underclock on my cpu because it overheats... it should clock up to 4ghz but I got it limited to 3ghz

I took even Copilot because we run all on Windows and Copilot is written by Microsoft lol

It’s for you save that you not but your processors together

nah, I just gotta redo the paste, and I dont wanna😄

Try the VRAM sharing it could be

#

You can make something that you Share RAM of your HardDisk/SSD to become more Ram and share VRAM to become more VRAM

too much trouble, I have a gaming laptop that runs the game much better... I dont play much on this one

🧠 1. Understanding the hardware setup

Your system has two GPUs:
• Intel UHD 620 (integrated GPU) — uses shared memory (part of system RAM).
• NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (dedicated GPU) — has its own VRAM (usually 2 GB GDDR5).

⚙️ 2. Can you increase RAM or VRAM through Windows?

🔹 RAM (system memory):
• You can only increase total RAM by physically upgrading it (e.g., from 8 GB → 16 GB).
• Windows itself cannot add real RAM — but it can use the SSD/HDD as “virtual memory” (pagefile).
→ You can adjust this in System Properties → Performance → Advanced → Virtual memory.

🔹 VRAM (video memory):

There are two cases:

A. For Intel UHD 620 (integrated GPU)
• It uses shared memory from your system RAM.
• Windows automatically manages how much RAM is shared.
• You can’t directly change this in Windows settings, but:
• In some BIOS versions, you can adjust “DVMT Pre-Allocated” or “UMA Frame Buffer Size” to reserve more memory (e.g., 128 MB → 512 MB or 1 GB).
• This affects how much RAM is dedicated to the Intel GPU.

B. For NVIDIA MX150 (dedicated GPU)
• The MX150 has fixed VRAM (2 GB) that cannot be increased via software, Windows, or BIOS.
• Only the shared system RAM can help if a game or app runs out of VRAM, but this is slower.

🧩 3. Tips to optimize performance

✅ Use the NVIDIA GPU for heavy tasks:
Go to Settings → System → Display → Graphics settings, and set apps/games to use the High-performance NVIDIA processor.

✅ Update drivers:
Make sure both Intel and NVIDIA drivers are up to date (via Intel Driver & Support Assistant + GeForce Experience).

✅ Increase virtual memory (pagefile):
If your system runs low on RAM, increasing virtual memory helps prevent slowdowns.

✅ Upgrade RAM physically:
If your laptop supports 16 GB or more, it will benefit both the CPU and integrated GPU.
