This would allow more creative base decoration as well as more realistic placement of objects like knives that tend to place sitting upright on thier handles. Also, could lean a gun against the wall, etc. The possibilities are endless!

You can rotate options on the vertical axis with the mouse scroll wheel or alternatively if you're on a laptop, 2 finger scrolling also works

Things that come to mind where this could be really handy are folded up ladders that end up standing at attention when moving them, and it would be nice to place the bible on the bookstand like how it spawns. Edit: Maybe holding shift or ctrl would allow for the rotation mode to swap?

100% agree, extra options when placing would be great and allow for nicer placement of solar panels on slanted roofs. I only mention the mouse wheel because we've had a few people who didn't know that was a thing😁
