#Out of video memory

I posting on mobile but I do send bug report through game everytime this happen.
My spec is rtx 3050
i5 Intel core with integrated graphic
8gbram
I have 1tb ssd that just for my games.
I don't know how post bug report on mobile but I can if someone tell me how do it.
I play this game for about two day. The game really nice and I like it. When I try load back in save I get this error and cannot play game. I see someone on Reddit have same problem a try fix other person tell them but it make the game unusable because artifact so bad I cannot see what go on. I really like this game but cannot recommend game that brick itself and have no fix. I really hope this get fix because I scared buy full game when come out if demo brick and become unplayable. I test other game in library and they all run great so it just this game.

make sure your game is running on the dedicated GPU, you can check by going into Nvidia settings (depending on what u have, could be called Nvidia Experience or something) ... It could be launching with the integrated gpu in the cpu. my gpu also has 8gb of vram so you should be fine. I've also been able to run on integrated graphics with only 2gb of vram but I have to lower the games graphic settings to lowest.

check under graphics, VEIN wont be shown but you should be able to force any games to use your dedicated gpu

I'm not familiar with the "new" nvidia app, there should be a way to use the old program they had but I can't seem to find it on this pc i'm currently using

I gonna try reload game. If that still crash I gonna try new save but will post if it still broke or if it fix. Brb

if it still isn't working, you can try the other way (the old way) with Nvidia control panel and adding vein and forcing it to use the dedicated gpu... Using the Nvidia App should be the same thing but I dunno:

did you recently change the graphic settings? like maybe you turned them up?

I is send bug report. No the only thing do is update driver but that was before I try play game again and it ran with update driver before problem happen.

what you can do, go into the game files and delete GameUserSettings and it will make a new file with the default settings:

8gb ram is not enough you need minimum of 16gb

However devs do plan on doing their best at cutting the ram usage down but I can't see it being that much as so much is going on in Vein every second

Oooooh okay I just look at steam page again. When do they change ram requirement because I remember 8gb was on the minimum when I first put this on my pc. I'm confused now because it ran with 8gb of ram fine the past couple day.

Okay that make sense. It crash again when I try make new game but it not give me the out of video memory error again. I just gotta upgrade pc. Thank everyone for put up with my bad grammar and ram😅

this is assuming you're on a PC and not a laptop, which you'd need sodimm ram

Thank so much I appreciate it!! I gonna try load save just make sure the issue ram before I done with this report. If I not get video memory error and it just crash I will post update.

even if you manage to get the game to run you will likely encounter issues with only 8gb of system ram

Oh this not a try get game run load this is just a see if error show up load. I gonna take break after this until I have better ram.

So I have the same issue. I have 32Gb ram, Intel i7-14700KF and RTX 4070 Ti. I get this when I'm starting the game, the screen loads but also the error shows and I can only close the game or restart it. I tried everything you suggested to do. My processor doesn't even have integrated graphics so can't use it hahaha

I managed to open the game when I manually set the graphics card in nvidia app but even on low graphics settings it crashes when trying to start a new game
