After the generator sound/animation always running being fixed, I find that everytime I load into the game, it's switched on and running.
Turning it off stops the sound etc, but when I load in again, it s on.

They mean the state its at before they load the game isn't being saved it defaults to switching on and not off if saved when off etc

Yes. Saved while it was off, but upon load it's running and on
