#7 Days to die (It's weird, but please read what I have to say)

I'm a big fan of the zombie survival type,

But there is a big problem with this type of game, it's the boredom.

You arrive on the game all happy, you discover the features, you looted, you found a base, you go to get weapons and you die.

Then you start again, you appear elsewhere, you looted, you find a base, you go to seek weapons but .... this time you do not die.

You continue to play, you have a lot of food, a lot of water, a lot of ammunition, and suddenly, you have a feeling that invades you, which is called boredom. That you no longer have a goal, you already have everything in your base that you have reinforced, you no longer fear anything.

You have to avoid that!

And I think, personally, that only one game (also, ugly, buggy, bad and technically late speak that it has) has succeeded, and it is 7 days you die.

In my opinion, it is mandatory to have this feature of horde that comes on you every x days!

In my opinion, it's one of the only thing that makes that you can't really turn around, and that you can't say that you don't have any objective anymore because you're always preparing for the next horde and there's a pressure that is created!

With this feature, the end of the game is when you have been destroyed by a zombie horde and it seems complicated to rebuild everything.

This is in my opinion THE FEATURE that ALL zombie survival games should offer.

If I had the money, the development skills and so on, I would have made my game like that 🙂

I don't think that you are completely wrong but i like more traditional "the walking dead" and "dayz" style survival games with full freedom and you are not fighting against time. Maybe random chance of hordes arriving to your base, like horde passing by the map occasionally? But the style of 7 days to die does not appeal to me in this type of game

#

Because let's face it, the most dangerous thing will be the other human players

Trust this is not first time 7dtd has been brought up

#

i love the game ive mentioned it in the past

#

and i have to agree on only it really making it and prospering

#

Currently vein is set to be as much sp/coop as well as mp

#

So i would like to see this implemented aswell, if so my server when it comes back, would be running this mode 24/7

7dtd is the best zombie game as there is always something you can do

#

Shame the devs keep changing core systems every year lol

Just quick throw out here but you guys should try survive the nights, it's like realistic version of 7 days to die, real good game.

#

Because it sounds like you are wanting that kind of game and it actually exists already 😁

Yeah but it's great coop experience nevertheless

Having a big m/p server creates its own problems with performance(Look at scum and dayz)both run like crap when high population….. I’d like to see Good AI ,raiders , zombies , survivors and a handful of players. I think that would work well

Don't know about scum, not played it for long time. But dayz runs butter smooth with 60 players at the time of writing this

#

But they are different games. Everything really depends on everything. For example you cannot compare "Stay out" (stalker online) for these games as well. Yeah it's survival game and servers host more than 1000 players. Still the game is smooth because how it's made.

#

If one takes 50 players with no lag because of how it and the networking has been build the other one may not. And other way around

#

Just depends how the devs are making the game.

#

O bet they are not making a lagging game for purpose
