Unfortunatly the moderator does seem as bit scepticle of my abilty to keep this many games at once (as I would be in his position) so I may not be able to get in. Still waiting on a response though so there is still hope.

In case anyone reads this later:
#general-chat message is the thing i say every so often to explain the game limit.
Points in favor: Fenax took the topic seriously and asked for an exception and answered followup questions about his experience so far
This game could have been started with a rematch button and staff might not have noticed
We like to incentivize replacements
7 of the games are not fancy high demand games like TF or DSBR

Points against:
8 games out of 4 is well beyond what we normally allow
The game in question is an extra demanding game to think about. 14VP, 3 galactic events.
Not very many of the existing games are near the finish line. We have found that the single best predictor of a problem is how many final rounds a person has worked through.

I'm going to allow it, but pls pls pls try to limit your engagement and take fast turns and not worry about playing bad, if you start to feel overwhelmed.
