It's worth taking a sec to acquaint yourself with the action cards since they're WILD. (and things that give Action Cards are better than base game)
Also, an important point compared to TE - movement is at a premium. LWD and Grav don't exist, movement bonuses are rare except from unit upgrades.

and the economy can be kinda weird. Like franken games, usually there's a lot more TGs and resources flowing around. Strategy follows are also better than base, so cc's become premium in early-mid game as well.

We're getting there! just 3 more!
Fwiw, my general response time is quite high, esp on weekdays where I'm not on vacation - the 2h20m timer comes from a combination of several weekends/vacations where like 7 games sat on me for a few days (with advance notification!), and generally being willing to let it sit on my turn while people respond slowly to things that are critical for the turn or the game to continue.

How fast are we talking here? I've only played 3 games online and they are chill pace, though I do find long periods of time where I would be free to play but all the others are in the US timezones so asleep. Also, I haven't played TF, but really wanted to play
