To launch a new game, please run the command /game create_game_button, filling in the players and fun game name. This will create a button that you may press to launch the game after confirming the members are correct.

Hi everyone! Thx for the invite, it’s my first time playing on discord, and I’ve never played any of the expansions before, is there a reference guide for the discord aspect of this? And any expansions i should read the instructions for?

@cedar pike Welcome! Glad to have you playing with us.

We are playing the "Prophecy of Kings" expansion. From what I understand, the major differences from the base game are the inclusion of faction specific Agents/Commanders/Heroes, the addition of "Frontier Tokens" accessible via the "Dark Energy Tap" blue technology, and the inclusion of the "Malice" legendary planet. I'm sure there is some other stuff... I'm fairly new myself and only started playing in POK. @muted phoenix can provide additional POK changes if I missed any key ones.

As far as the discord aspect... I've not see any reference guide. The general way it works is there will be an "actions" thread within our game server that provides buttons that let you take the necessary actions. It's a little clunky at first when you're learning but after a few turns it will make sense.

There is also a "Cards" and "Map" thread that will show you your specific action/objective cards (Cards tab) and then a view of the board (Map thread). The Board image will update after very action, or you can refresh it manually at any point.

This group is mostly new to Discord Ti4, so don't hesitate to post questions. Once the game starts I'll tag you in each thread so you can see where they sit and how they will work.

Hey Derek! You'll have an easy enough time picking up the expansion content. Leaders and Mechs are the major additions, and they're fairly intuitive.

Picking up the discord aspect, for me at least, was a challenge. I figured it out after a couple rounds, but in the beginning I needed guidance on literally everything. Don't hesitate to ask for help, and I swear no question is stupid, we all went through it
