so far I've played with new tiles, legendary mecatol, and new construction/warfare in franken. I haven't messed around with breakthroughs, new factions, or the fracture stuff yet at all

Some are simple enough you can stack them.
If we’re doing random events, I’m out. Some of them I don’t even want to think about. If we’re willing to decide on 1-3 ahead of time that’s fine by me.
I think I’d do like Age of Commerce and Stellar Atomics. But that’s just me. Neither add too much to think about but they do put a twist on the game.

I have heard that Age of Commerce does funny things to tech tempo in the game. Very meta dependent, mind. But hey, having lots of tech is fun too. Just don't play Jol Nar 😂
