i asked to be replaced in it within the last week due to some differences at the table. i'm not sure if the rest of the people in there were actively trying to replace me or not. i noticed that they were using manual commands to take my turns. i was under the impression that setting oneself to NPC would handle that for them automatically. should i not have done that?

We've had recurring issues with new players taking on more games than they can handle, and then vanishing without a trace when they've grown overwhelmed. A private game might not require a replacement if you disappeared forever, but it still increases the async load on you, which has previously caused the community to need to fill many games at once.
