The thing to be aware of is that your primary faction and the faction you're putting in your left equidistant are being drawn from that same huge pool of 14.

@upper birch At a glance, it seems like this is your first game you've signed up for on the async server. Please don't let this sour your experience. I think you could have a lot of fun here, but I think you will be happier in games marked DecentlyFast or ChillPace. We're going to go ahead and find a better fit for our speed of play. These play speeds are just a vibe you have to feel out, so it's totally understandable to not get the right fit on the first try. Best of luck to you, friend.
