Basically It's a second series of objectives that are pre-determined, and it's based off of some earlier versions of TI (TI2).
The main thing I wanna sus out is how it feels in comparison to normal victory points, and if it feels like it jives with the game, because I've written a whole bunch of stuff down for it myself, but I haven't really gotten a whole bunch of chances to play games with it

@reef dune It's a separate Victory track, so you can win by getting to 10 VP, or by getting Imperium Rex.
It's scored in the status phase before objectives, and the warfare strategy card is modified to allow you to also move up the rung if you meet it during the action phase

It's kinda point ish, but It doesn't really count toward VP.
I've playtested it once before and it was pretty close with our two leaders

One player did, and one player tried to balance it, kinda going for the easy objective and the ladder rung, since they are in two different scoring phases
It becomes a much bigger ask in rounds 3/4 because the track is asking a lot more for a bigger payoff, and if you've been diving into that, or trying to balance, you might have been neglecting normal objectives or not doing the diplomacy thing, getting cut out of support swaps.

It became really interesting because my neighbor was almost entirely eaten because his neighbor was trying to score the conquest victory. So we obviously partnered up, but I ended up getting some really good deals out of it that I probably shouldn't have 😅

I’m not sure exactly what’s going on here, but I use async to play around with different factions. I’m almost always good for at least a turn per day (and when the game is actually moving check in as often as possible) and am in CST.
