it's actually pretty cool there's a discord bot that stores the map as an image that you can check the whole time so you don't have to write down where everything is, though I hear that's how they used to do it around here.

since we got a bunch of older factions in this draft:
more starting carriers is easier and simpler to play, but a couple of these factions have some trick that lets them be just as effective:

Naalu can move their carrier twice, due to their Agent ability letting them, once per round, move without locking the moved ships down
Argent has special destroyers which can carry 1 unit each, so they effectively start with 1 big slow transport and 2 small fast transports

Xxcha next
Mahact, Nekro, and Vuil'Raith all break/bend the rules in some way, though like, feel free to go for that
