I am only now getting a driver's license and personally and I am scared that in 3-4 years when I am gonna be done with uni and is gonna be time for me to get my own car that there won't be many options even in the second hand market for a manual rwd fun car

I think the EU started pushing back a little bit with the whole electrification of car's

But who knows how much time ICEs actually got

There's still quite a few used options, and you just gotta hope that ethanol, hydrogen, and synthetic fuels gain legislative support
Brands like Toyota and porsche are leading these efforts
Your best bet for used sports cars you can reasonably afford as a new car guy is Mazda miatas, early gen mustangs, subaru BRZ's, etc.
Today's sports cars made right now will depreciate though!! Maybe in 10 or so years you could pick up a mk5 supra, Chevy camaro, porsche cayman, all of them still have manual options right now and in the past 30 years, just gotta keep your eye out for them!
You might be running out of time already to get a 80s to 90s car though, unless you have the time and funds to fix them. That's where 50-70s cars are now.
And ICEs will still be around till at least 2030, because we still rely on them a lot and companies make so much money off them... so don't fret!

Also don't forget hot hatches too! They may not look pretty but cars lie the vw GTI and the subaru WRX and GR corolla are little fast mfs with 6 speed manuals :)

A plus for the Rx8 is definitely the fact you can find the chassis in fairly good condition for very cheap and then just rebuild/replace the engine for around 5k and end up with a Rx8 in extremely good condition for less than 10k that should last you a long while if you continue to take care of it
