How does pilot xp work?

Was wondering bout how to gain more pilot xp, whether its by doing alot of dmg or just simply playing the bot each match.

earn more impact!

anything that earns you more impact will earn you more credits, account exp, and pilot exp. this includes earning more kills, more assists, taking down enemy titans, taking/holding objectives (beacons/warpgates), and at the end of every match--bonus impact is credited to the players on each team with the most damage, most team healing, and most objectives (captures/holds).

Also you should know that you don't have to use a robot with the pilot at low lvl to earn pilot XP

Doesn't matter if you use the robot with the low lvl pilot or don't, like fishstickers said, all the pilot XP you earn, only depends in the total of impact points you earn with all of your hangar at the end of the match
