I play everyday, so there's no way I missed a day on this. I don't believe I received the Day one of the holiday gifts. 15k salvage is a pretty great gift that I'd hate to miss out on.
I am wondering if it's a bug in how it's gifting, because I got the gift for the 24th yesterday and I got the new Pilot Rex Cole as the gift for the 25th, today on the 24th.
Wondering if I either didn't get the notification about the Day 1 gift or if it's because it's giving everything a day early, so the first gift was skipped.
Please advise.

It goes off of UTC time.
I missed day 1 myself because of that, but that's not the end of the world, for me anyway.

The 15k salvage would have got auto added to your reserves if you had played 1 match during the appropriate time window

I started playing as soon as the update landed. Played a couple hours. Pretty sure I played more during the day, but maybe I came on just after it reset and missed collecting?

I don't understand why it doesn't pay out immediately, because it hasn't been.

Are you supposed to play a game, then log out and in again?

I have only received prizes upon logging in.

I think the first day you had not notification but they corrected it for day 2-3 and I think for all the remaining days

I believe the issue here is that I have been getting the rewards a day early and that's why I missed the first one. I got Rex Cole yesterday during the day yesterday. It might have been around when the supply cache refreshes, but certainly not after the first match I played within the defined time period, even accounting for my timezone. I'm UTC -4, so my timezone isn't so radically off there. Supply cache resets soon and we'll see if I get tomorrow's reward today.

So apparently I got the day 1 reward, but no notification, so that's good. It was just really confusing when I got the day 2 reward a day early, while I was anticipating the day 1 reward.
I didn't get any reward yesterday, so perhaps they fixed the issue giving rewards our a day early?

i've been getting rewards as per schedule so idk tbh. Could the misunderstanding be arising due to the fact that the event follows the UTC time zone?

I'm UTC -4 (Eastern), so I'm not that far off. Do you get the rewards as soon as you complete your first battle in the time period for the day? I haven't been.

Got today's after one battle, no UI notification, but in my notifications inbox from the menu, it is there. I did notice the salvage increase before hand.

It could be that I was seeing gifts, "a day early", because I'm UTC -4, but I'm pretty sure it was much earlier in the day. The trend most certainly stopped as of yesterday though and I did play a bunch within the 00:00-23:59 UTC time period, where I should have received it before going to sleep, so their system for handling this is wonky. But, I suppose as long as it does work, fantastic!
