Weapon Type: Light auto cannon / Kinetic / Acid
Role: Mid-range DoT / harassment

Overview: Wasp is a pretty weak weapon from WR and i think it’d be a pretty nice addition in WRF.

Proposed Stats - (might be lvl 13 idk)

  • Magazine Size: 8 projectiles
  • Rate of Fire: 150 RPM
  • Reload: 6.5 seconds
  • Armour Damage: 4,000 per projectile
  • Shield Damage: 2,500 per projectile
  • Effective Range: 0–500 m
  • Maximum Range: 600 m
  • Range Mechanic: Shells corrode beyond 500 m, dealing very limited damage from 500–600 m
  • Damage Type: Kinetic / acidic
  • Weight: 4
  • Energy Cost: 2

Visual / Flavour Suggestion

  • Green kinetic-acid shells with fizzing impact effects.
  • Long-range projectiles visibly corrode midair to indicate reduced potency.

Yeah i didn’t really feel what would be right for it. Maybe 3 or 4 energy Mitch’s be a little better.

sounds balanced considering the reload and that the projectiles have a damage drop off beyond the effective range

Both being close range, this is a nice alternative

I fear that if implemented wrong this could be locust but one single shot could chunk out tons of health plus the dot
