How do you suggest they fit medium weapon mounts into the current game?

I really like the typhon shoulders, how they extend out a bit.
I was thinking instead of 4 light weapons they could do 2 medium weapons, like the rogatka

Adding a medium weapon slot would make the game more of a mess.

They’d have to rebalance the shoulders and/or torsos to transition into a light/medium/heavy weapon system. Or they leave everything as is and awkwardly squeeze in a new robot with new mounts.

Exactly, thats why simply not adding them and just making them more heavy energy demanding light weapons would suffice.
