Hey, I'm back again with some might be crazy, might work ideas...lol
So I've played War thunder a lot back then, so much that I learned to distinguish which is which over time, I learned to distinguish whether the vehicle approaching is a half-track, an armored car, a light tank or a heavy....as time goes I was able to even differentiate a Russian T34 from the US M4 or the German Tiger just by listening to the rattling of their tracks or the rumbling of their engines...I think it would be cool if wrf could have some of that...where certain torsos or titans make sounds...
I always expect Titans to be more fearsome, but some builds out there can outright outplay these behemoths, so I was thinking maybe a little intimidation factor wouldn't hurt...
Imagine getting hunted and stalked by these titans and you hear their distinctive sounds...
Ill provide some previews below with some bonuses...lol
I know as well that the chassis especially the biped ones seems to make different sounds already, just faint... So I wish they're more distinctive and audible.... Maybe we'll get a reason to use flanker legs now over tacticians as they can make flanker chassis have more finesse and be much more quiet than the average mech legs...👀
These are just sounds, doesn't really seem much and I believe can be easily added or removed... It's a small addition but I feel a big difference that will add life and more dynamic in the game...
With the excellent sound game design which I give props to the devs, why not capitalize on it...maybe add more ambient in the background...gunfires, explosions in the distance as we are not the only one at war...the battles aren't confined within fissure, terminus or catalyst only...there's other battles going on as well at the same time.... But enough of my gibberish lol... Here's the samples I prepared....enjoy! 🍻
