Whats up folks, heres all the highlights of my Hanger from throughout my time in the Frontiers. This is everything I might recommend for builds, and hopefully you can find some inspiring paint jobs too!

Right now this is what im playing around with, doing some serious testing on the new content still, but this is what im thinking

I think that the Decker has an awesome ability that can be used a lot of builds, but im going for ultimate DOT for right now. And the new Hefty weapons are definitely my new favorite of its type, but I do think adding a Nucluon or Pulsar with 2 Heftys is a good idea. I think the typical thicc medium range builds would excel with this setup as well, something like a Purifier torso, Bulwark arms, ×2 Heftys + 1 Nucleon/Pulsar

And yeah after some more time playing last night, I take back what I said about heftys, ×3 works best, but there is possibilities with mixed weapon builds of its same type

Oh man, I have been testing the new content pretty thoroughly since it came out last night, and ive got some fun ideas here, but honestly im not too impressed...
The cryx torso is a whole lot of really great movement, but thats about it. You have to play this flanker with perfect execution, pick your targets get in and get out. Pretty exciting ability, but will require good skill for its full potential.
And I just cannot find myself to like the new shotguns, talk about underwhelming. You can put a large variety of different builds together with them, and the sheild damage is amazing. I can see them being really good with teamwork, but once anything over 100k armor catches you off guard, youll have to get ready for a long fight most likely with a series of backing up and re-pushing.
So overall im excited having fun with the new stuff, and they definitely have a specific use case, but when I comes to getting the job done I would perfer my halos or bisectors over the storms, and perfer my phantom or scorpion over the cryx.

And the Purifier Hefty is starting to feel so insanely good, especially with Carmen Ruiz fire rate. Ive never had as much fun with any other weapon of its type

I actually really like these builds for the new stormpike, Shout out to @ionic escarp @coral cargo and @rancid osprey for these ideas, focusing on the reload of the of the shotgun. Its crazy how versatile these guns are, there's a lot of possibilities.

They just dump so many rounds out of them, pretty quick

i remember making these builds an hour after release, i wasnt sure about them in practice, vs the test range

i decided to continue with raven, instead of fenrir, fury, or bulwark.

Interesting, I do like a good raven build, but im too disappointed by those shotguns. Once I get something good going with them, Ill pick up my other shotguns and regret trying to make the new ones work. bisectors or halos aren't to terrible to mix with the stormpike tho

I dont think thete shotguns, but anyways they can pretty much work well with raven.

Ah, I see what ya did there, I like how you made that work, but I had also tried out different ×4 halo phantom, and I found that ×3 halos can get the job done just fine, and you also can use gears to get full potential out of a phantom push.

I feel like the stormpike could be a great weapon with phantom, but still think they need a little buff

Bulgarsi chassis allows for an ares+scorpion shoulder, ×4halo, and you actually get really good dash distance wich can be great for phantom

Haha yeah, ive actually tested all these builds recently when the new bot came out, and personally I will always perfer 2 legs, with one exception Ares+Anasi

I found the cerbres+ravana shoulders+3x bi-sectors+kumo legs to be really effective

As my mobility and tankyness is really good

Fast and durable

Nightmare fuel in my opinion

Idk brotha, I still think your holding yourself back there with the 4 legs. The ceres legs are the fastest of the defenders, with great fuel

I like kumo cuz of the constant boost so basically Ur moving 124km often expecally for chases I think it's better
Plus it was tanker than the lance legs I'm pretty sure

Im bringing back the ol' rad Scorpion, upgraded on a loki chassis now. Credit to @crisp horizon for the Loki idea, and all my friends who convinced me to put scatters back together 🙂

(I've also got repulsor on mine, but fuel works too)

Oh yeah i was totally thinking about minefield, and yeah it was strange but I ended up liking the fuel on those legs

@trail moon have u tried scatter orochi
It's quite effective especially with the pilot skill that heals u every time u use support gear
Being able to shoot through walls easily because u can see the enemy if they got hit by the recon charges
Although it's very squishy
But I do wonder how efficient scorpion is though

I see your point there niko with the orochi torso, and I also had some pretty heated debates about scatter+fenrir too.
So the reason I go for scatter scorpion firstly the pilot, when Sora Sing first came out me and Awesome_Soul freaked out over how perfect a pilot she is for scatter scorpion, literally every perk lines up perfect, ricochet, chemical hazard, gun nut, the 10% dmg reduction, she was meant for that build.
Second is if you want to run any gears on a scatter build, you have to put it on a flanker chassis, something that fenrir doesn't allow. Also after vigorous testing i found that fenrir does do a bit more direct dmg with the scatters shots after activating its ability, but the dmg over time of the scorpion ability ends up super close to the extra damage the fenrir gave you, but the scorpion is ignoring sheilds and refreshes on a kill.
Its a close comparison, tough call, but I would definitely choose between fenrir or scorpion

I have mine orchi on the Anish chassis and I run fuel reserve and reflector and I find it highly mobile and effective
But the Scorpion suggestion sounds really interesting but I wonder if it can beat scorpion halo though

Thats true, scorpion halo still holds the crown in my eyes, but this build came together around putting the scatters back together

Thanks, yeah definitely one of my best. It uses Bubblegum blast wrap, and then uses the decal to transition into Iccaris classic

Thank you, yeah the Decker has been getting real popular lately, i was playing with Locust+Decker wich is also very effective, but im gonna keep my incinerators where they are

I felt that I needed to put some new builds together recently, so I was playing around in the workshop and basically just swapped some weapons around. Here's what ive got...
Arachnid was my 4×halo scorpion for a while, which is a flanker I will forever love, but my friend @rancid osprey and @hollow schooner gave me the idea to replace the Halos with the Bisectors, which is a little unorthodox for the flanker but I have been very satisfied with the results. Especially in the tank meta that were faced with right now, I forgot how good the 4×bisectors feels and Carmen Ruiz has perfect synchronization.
After taking the 4 Bisectors away from Pretty Bird @coral cargo inspired me to put Magnetos back together. The Raven 4×magneto has always been my favorite build for the weapon, and the new Emma James pilot allows me to have great brawling ability, but I recommend the Ever pilot for maximum damage. I used to run this build back in season 2 peak magneto meta, and it feels great to have back in the hanger.

Is Magento raven better than Magento varngaian?

Haha your all good, i can barely pronounce verangian lol. That really depends on what your going for, the raven is really all about pushing big damage numbers and taking out sheilds quick. Verangian is more about survivability and being able to hold ground while brawling with the sheild bubble. Just 2 different ways to go about magnetos, and they actually counter each other pretty well. The Raven is definitely a higher risk but higher reward build that youll have to more play preserved.
I originally put together and used the Raven back in season 2 for the direct instant damage that shut down all the fenrir torsos running around in prime magneto meta, so to be honest its a little unorthodox in this extreme tank meta, but still very fun and rewarding.

Currently have gozzers on it but idk if it's better than Magento
But yeah with the tank meta, lighter robots have to be more careful currently
Like a good mobile build I have is Ares bisectors and I see you have Raven bisector
Now I wonder which is better, because I believe both torsos have a similar play style

Oh Yeah Ares and verangian are super similar, the trade off for raven vs ares is just about the same as raven vs verangian. The raven will be a little harder to survive with, I am relying on pilot perks and whatever gear I can try and fit to stay alive.
Maximizer is an amazing pilot perk with any blast weapon like magnetos, especially with the steel feathers from the raven torso.
And for bisectors I would recommend Carmen Ruiz for the bit of damage reduction, and insane rate of fire perks that those shotguns need, as long as your gears do damage to an enemy

Yeah, something thats cool about hordes is that there's a lot of good options for pilots

I was messing around with the new content last night, and im really happy with these few builds here, but will still be play testing a bit. Carmen Ruiz is good with these weapons, but could also see Kate, or Emma james doing well.
These new slugger weapons are insane, you can fit 4 or 5 of them on just about any build you want, and they hit so hard. I would not be surprised to see a nerf on them. And the new hitcher parts are great, the robot is heavily bugged right now so I cant say to much about it, but the torso ability is awesome, big damage!

Not much to report here folks, the gameplay loop with the tank meta going on hasn't been that exciting. I almost feel lame when I pull out my Purifier or Bulwark in game right now, but hold hopes to good rebalancing updates soon!
The 5× Slugger build ive been playing with has been fun, really puts out some insane damage, but invites flankers or assault class to shut it down pretty quick. Definitely not a reliable bot build, but can surprise in a lot of situations, another glass cannon of mine.
I love the new cosmetics that just came out this season, and will have to spend some more time in the paint workshop.

Whats up folks, Im still around making builds and paints I figured I would share again.
The new Heike bot added some awesome parts to the game, 12 weight heavy weapon shoulders! and a great chassis, Im still figuring out where exactly my Torso will be fitting, been doing a lot of testing and am excited to see how the balance changes feel for it.

I also just put a Triple Trebuchet back together, havent used one since season 1. This Bot is still under construction, Im still playing around with which chassis im running, and the gears that will accommodate. But these Armor numbers for a Triple Trebuchet are actually crazy

The rest of my hanger and wherehouse are also feelin good, constantly updating paintjobs, and upgrading parts. I just put my 4×Halo Scorpion back in the mix again, such a good flanker. My Phantom doesn't see as much use in the current meta, but still beloved. I refuse to use my 4×Locust Ceres anymore, and even feel guilty pulling out my Purifier, or Bulwark-Horde with the lame playstyle they fit into with this meta. I havent really been using my original Ceres Healer after the nerf, and ive got a Raven-Magneto sitting around still.

Oh man, We got new fun toys to play with! I absolutely love everything about this update, beautiful balance changes that ive already noticed ingame, and are feeling really good, and all these new bot parts are a blast!
The new bot Garuda is pretty cool, Very Versatile, I think you put pair almost any weapon you really want to with this new torso. Im still figuring out what exactly I want to use with this bot but im testing many things atm, I think I might put Scurges back together.
Oh Boy, Im I having a blast with the new ION weapon, its awesome feels just like some of the laser weapons from the first game. When building with them I went immediately for the super lazer build with the cyclops, but im sure there's plenty of good other spots for them. Not doing much of anything for sheild damage, but the overall feel of the weapon plus the damage once someone's sheild is down is totally worth.
Im super excited to see what happens with the Meta after these great balance changes, just from playing as much as I could today Ive noticed all the overused parts being put in their place 👍

Yeah I remember they had a bunch of different lazer weapons in the first game, ive seen some gozer×ION builds around, its not a bad idea to get the gozer for the sheilds, because holy crap your not gonna be doing any damage with the ION if your faced with a single sheild ability.

I think Ive got my new parts in their places now, The ION×Cyclops is an absolute blast, more of a troll build really, reminds me of my old triple thunder build, extremely unorthodox but puts down crazy damage
I havent been able to truly test the new bot due to the bug. I think the Scurges feel real nice on it thats been fun, but you could run this bot with any weapon you really want
Now I just gotta upgrade parts, and next I want to put some Tusks back together again

I see the weapon where if your using it on your own
It's just an opportunistic weapon,like as u said,u can shed the armour but do nothing against the shields

Yes very opportunistic, which is amazing when it comes to team play, and im finding all these new additions to perform amazing within a group setting! Super Fun!
But...
Its definitely best to pair it with a sheild draining ability or other weapon, but even then I wouldn't mind just the slightest shield damage buff to the ION, because even a poorly placed Maximizer Perk is enough to completely shut you down, like you cant do anything without that other ability off cooldown.
And you gotta think about the people playing solo que, that have no teamwork skills.

That's some of the best moments in the game

What do u think off the new battle pass?

Yeah its really tough right now, I like to play solo matches in the morning, and then ive got teammates who perfer working alone, or just leave the match after loosing their first bot. It makes the game unplayable, especially when your enemy is a stack with said opportunitistic plan at mind. Some people have two separate hanger setups to use between Solo Que, or Team Que, We shouldn't have to do that.
You can also find me playing with a group almost every night, but playing Solo is important because it shows what you as an individual can accomplish and bring to a team.
So I ask this of the community, STOP LEAVING MATCHES, Dont only use all of the most popular overused parts just cuz its easiest, Make sure you play Solo que sometimes and look around at your fellow blue names on the map and help where your needed! These things fall on us to make the game better!

Sorry I went on a little Rant there, dont get me wrong, I still love this game and play all the time, I just had to get that off my chest.

The new battle pass is alright, there was only like 6 new items in it tho. 2 new paints, 2 new stickers, 1 Decal and 1 wear&tear. I wouldn't mind seeing more new cosmetics, weve kinda been lacking there, but the overall value of the battlepass is awesome with all the salage and intell potential!

I totally agree with you
But like say if you turn off cross play and you load I to a game,your in a team with bots and the enemy has 3 bots and 3 players, I don't think that's a fair match up
The match making system needs to improve because being a single player is like a gamble if you going against a team of trios and duos or solos
And yes, I agree with the part of not only using meta,gotta have some fun with what you got and try out new things,as it is what it's about at the end of the day

Yeah, they really did drop the cosmetics in the pass,most of the cosmetics there I already own
They could do better to add new cosmetics,I haven't seen a decale in ages

Yeah the matchmaking has been horrible for soo long, those are just a couple things that could ease the experience, as a community for the community, while they can try and improve matchmaking, im sure its tough with a smaller player base and all the back end stuff

There's a new decal in the battle pass, nothing crazy, but yeah they have been seriously lacking with the cosmetics latly

I wish stickers are more customisable

I wish you could change the size of them because they are barely noticeable

You can! I dont know what platform you are on, but make sure you look at the promts at the bottom of your screen when selecting stickers!
Look for the place sticker option press it, then you can change the size and rotation of them
