I'm not so sure if Frontiers took inspiration from B.O.T but they have the same armor damage layoutout.

LORE
A 4th faction was discovered on Mars, their creators are the Martians. These robots have no pilots, only AI powered drones that you can pilot into the battlefield

To obtain these "Titans" you have to complete certain quests to earn parts of the robot.

#

Here are the following robots in the event

#

Little Shon
Flanker
Speed: 72 km/h
2 light weapon slots
Signature weapons: manglers
Very poor shield damage but immense armor damage
Ability: Fulger
An electric base attack that can only be activated within 20m from a robot, the ability paralyzes opponents in close-range to give yourself an advantage during a fight.

#

Nelly
Attacker
Speed: 41 km/h [can climb walls]
4 light weapons
Signature weapons: Sting
Light missile pods that can release over 25 tiny missiles at a range over 300m

What makes atlas special is it's arms, the arms on the atlas operates completely on their own, if atlas is behind a rock, atlas uses its arms to poke the weapon from behind the rock, if atlas is hiding behind a building depending on the hight the arms will peer over the to shoot
Ability: defense pulses, when atlas is under attack atlas releases a pulse boom [ac6 assault armor] you can either use it as a defense or offence

Tirpitz
Defender
Titan class

Signature weapons
Inquisitor:
The Inquisitor has incredible burst DPS thanks to how devastatingly powerful each shot is. The Inquisitor also has a strong knock-back effect for other Titans. Landing a shot on an enemy with the Inquisitor will push them back a considerable amount of distance depending on it's size.
Retribution:
Heavy Lazer canons that fire in bursts

Ability:
tungsten rain
Calls in a orbital strike that will drop tungsten rods from space, hitting randomly in the designated area
Hot shot:
Tirpitz will load 2 shells into its main Canon where you can heat the shells, the longer you hold, the more damage you deal, Upon hitting the target it will also deal a burning effect
Keep in mind that if you don't shoot the shells, they will explode injuring you and burning you slightly
Armor shed:
Tirpitz can shed its Armor to gain a speed advantage at the cost of it being vulnerable, after the ability ends the Armor regenerates back

I dont think a majority of these bots would translate well to wrf

#

We would also have to use some of frontiers bots in BoT if thats the case.

#

A lot to ask for, thats all.

sturdy timber
#

Example

hollow widget
#

Hm?

sturdy timber
#

That bot doesn't work well?

hollow widget
#

Atlas.

#

It has arms, that wouldnt correlate well to the shoulder system.

charred birch
#

This reminds me of armor core

hollow widget
#

You would have to have a seperate button for moving structures.

#

Thats just not possible on controller at this point in time.

charred birch
#

But what is the theme for the Martian

charred birch
hollow widget
#

It still has to translate into the interchangeability factor of the game.

sturdy timber
#

Let's say your behind a building

#

Your main body doesn't have to poke out

#

The arm moves out automatically when it senses a clear shot

#

It like if an alpha can corner shoot

#

But you don't take damage

hollow widget
#

So the arm shoves a hole into a wall.

#

Basically just scatter, but long range.

sturdy timber
#

I guess

#

But scatters loose damage when shooting through objects

hollow widget
#

And this doesnt?

#

Thats quite strong i do admit.

sturdy timber
#

Here is it gameplay

#

See how it's arms work

#

How it works in a nutshell

charred birch
#

Eh

covert marten
red rain
#

Do you up your own post 😂

charred birch
red rain
#

I don’t

#

There shouldn't be an issue with that. I mean, it's their idea. Everybody wants their idea to be implimented shrug

#

4th faction? isnt the 4th faction in WRF called Tortuga? who are mercenaries?

hollow widget
sturdy timber
#

Aliens were observing the whole war robot war

#

"Flying saucer easter egg"

#

So they wanted to join the fight

sage lagoon
#

observing the war from 200 years ago?

sturdy timber
#

Yes

#

Howbeit it's a darker scheme that the Martians are trying to achieve

sage lagoon
#

wdym? darker?

hollow widget
# sage lagoon wdym? darker?

Assuming he means a more malicious scheme from said faction implying he wants lore behind it, which binds with war robots.

sturdy timber
#

The Martians are helping freecon, fortevo, and Mayflower

#

But little do they know the Martians are studying them and is building an army

sage lagoon
#

uh, dont everyone live on mars?

sturdy timber
#

No

#

I don't think so

sage lagoon
#

uh yeah?

#

the old factions did, i dont believe anything said they moved

sturdy timber
#

From what I see they are abandoned

sage lagoon
#

on earth? yes

#

mars? no? because that isnt a warzone

sturdy timber
#

Well the Martians back stab the factions but the bot AI unsure who to fight for chooses either side

#

Hence the collaboration

#

An additional invasion mode where we have to Defender earth from waves of evil bots and Martians

#

And their final boss

#

Indra

sage lagoon
#

martains as in all the humans that live on mars?

sturdy timber
sage lagoon
#

for the past 200+ years?

#

which would be weird since there is no evidence of such, atleast since last i played WWR.

#

best we got is mutated humans

#

your gonna have to retcon it in.

sturdy timber
#

Their is alien easter eggs implying they're were aliens

sage lagoon
#

where?

#

what alien easter eggs?

#

thats a titan

#

made by yan-di

sturdy timber
#

Wrong thing

sage lagoon
#

easter egg doesnt mean its appert of lore, just like in most games, you saying pac-man is in eldescrolls?

#

and if there is aliens in the sol system, i havent seen or earth of it, nor is it mention in the lore artbook.

#

closests we got its evolife
