U will need a lot of salvage to upgrade ur items. If u managed to grind 7k credits since ur last post where u had less than 1k credits, u will be able to able to re-grind credits again

my reccomendation is whenever the shop rerolls and there is a good salvage deal aka 60k or 90k then buy it

i mean it depends on what you like i typically upgrade torsos as a first thing

Robot Ranger for example has a pritty good ability you can use for a lot of different bots
