We have a Tortuga faction, a Tortuga filter, Tortuga tag, and even Tortuga pilots but no Tortuga War Robots?! Here are some of my scrappy ideas for Tortuga War Robot core abilities:
Assault: Segundo (Spanish/Portugese for second)
Vector Leech: Deploys a [spider] trap that, when approached by an enemy, activates and attaches itself to the closest target. Once attached, the trap generates a temporal field around the host, reducing movement speed by 32%–40% and reducing fire rate by 8%–10% for all nearby enemies within a 40m radius. (Effect lasts for 10 seconds) (Vector Leech lasts for 15 seconds as a semi-hidden trap before self-destructing if no enemy approaches within a 60m radius, only one Vector Leech can be deployed at a time per Segundo torso, each target can only have one Vector Leech attached to it, effects from other nearby Vector Leeched targets do not stack)
Defender: Gama (Japanese for frog)
Tow Hook: Launches a chain towards enemy target that causes 12,881-16,500 damage (single module direct damage), and pulls the target towards Gama at 36.8m/s-50m/s force while locking out the target's dash function for 6 seconds. (Could also be used on a teammate [without the damage or dash lockout], but will pull Gama towards teammate instead to quickly bring Gama towards the front of the action)
Flanker: Siros (named after a Greek island)
Wrecking Ball: Encases Siros in a spherical energy shield ball (think of a giant hamster ball fit for a war robot), providing a protective shell of 34,650–45,000 shield and increasing speed and acceleration by 38%–50%. While rolling at high velocities, colliding with an enemy deals massive damage to target enemy (scaling with speed, x km/h = x20 AOE damage). After a heavy impact or once the bonus armor is depleted, Siros breaks out of its energy ball and immediately reverts to its original form. (While in ball form, Siros is unable to use its weapons, but can use any of its supply or cycle gears) (Lasts for 25 seconds before automatically disengaging wrecking ball form or can press ability again to actively disengage wrecking fall form)

Tactician: Maibo (Chinese for pulse)
EMP Impulse Grenade: Deploys a sticky grenade that emits a double electrical pulse (mimicking a heart-beat pulse), removing all active negative effects from nearby allies and deactivating all active abilities from nearby enemies within a 41m–50m radius, while dealing 2,696–3,500 damage (AOE) each pulse.
