#This not the way you got us to play the game, and this has to stop unless you wanna let the game die

Many of us have been coming from War robot mobile, with hype. And so far, the game have had it's down, but you stayed f2p healthy.

And now youy're going down a path many player won't follow : the core gear (torso) not being available for free in bp (aside all the other stuff), the ceres problem dropping without any opinion from your community (and is clearly overpowered), the second titans weapons, the 9 locust from battlepass : enough to do 4x loxust on two builds.

Your game has been balanced on p2w/f2p where most of us led that slide since you were putting everything for free in the level track.

Now, you are doing EXACTLY like war robot mobile (hiding f2p behind a 0,.... % drop rate) Except you DO NOT have the playerbase, and war robot served as an exemple player won't follow.

And for anyone not believing their path, Jen leaving the team at that exact moment is enough to prove us your intention.
Don't do a War robot Mobile 2, do a War Robot Frontier.

For clarification, Jen was leading WRF for at least 2yrs and is now moving on to her next project. All items in the game will have their blueprints made available to us like we now have the blueprints for the items of the 1st 2 battle pass.

I respect your opinion and i am merely sharing two facts with you. I am not trying to convince you. You have every right to your opinion about the game and I respect and appreciate that.

I also feel like the monetization should be focused on getting places faster or on cosmetics.
After putting some thought into it the battle passe we have now is almost all the contrary with a lot of paints wraps available as a F2P but a lot of parts, gold and scrap being available to be bought for money.
IMO every part (maybe as a single set as used in game) should be available as a free to play even if that might mean some grind for it.
Then cosmetics should stay seasons rewards or to be bought with actual money and be put more forward to give a advantage to players paying.
I feel like it wouldn't be harmful either if paying would allow you to get to the end of the grind I talked about faster for those who only have an hour or less a day to play the game

Agreed. Cosmetics and progression speed (as long as the free progression speed is still within reason) are the way to go. Too much barrier to entry to getting new parts and stuff feels scummy, and will likely increasingly turn off new players from wanting to invest their time into the game in the first place. This is fundamentally a game about mixing and match parts to experiment with different builds, and the more stuff that gets in way of that, the worse.

I think it would be reasonable, if fully completing the F2P pass would rewards a full BP robot (on the later pages), and the Paid pass would reward a second full BP robot (on the early pages).
1 robot for F2P and 2 robots for Paid

Came back after a two month break because I was waiting for new maps. Found all of my builds have been nerfed into oblivion, particularly my vortex build which just so happens to have a nice shiny new rocket pod for sale that is even more powerful than the old vortex ever was. I just uninstalled the game.

I absolutely refuse to spend money for solutions to artificially created problems only for those weapons to be inevitably nerfed into oblivion as well. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Gacha games and the only thing that was stopping me from spending in this game was the lack of new maps. I’m glad I didn’t spend more than the $25 that I did. It hasn’t even been six months since the game released and for them to do things like this is beyond scummy.

Most past rebalances (like the Siren, the Pursuer and the Vortex) were executed because of community feedback and i am sure the future ones will also be done for this reason only. I really don’t know what to say if the community expresses that a certain inventory is too powerful and then feels disappointed when the inventory’s power level is reduced. But i appreciate that every one of us has the right to their own opinion and I respect the opinion of others. I am merely expressing my opinion too. I may not be right ofc.

Community feedback or not this isn’t a beta and if it was really about that the new pods wouldnt exist in the state they do. Community feedback shouldn’t dictate game balance. The community arent developers. Feedback should be part of it, but this is a sledge hammer that’s been taken to these things and it makes it an incredibly dissatisfying experience to even consider spending money

If it was really about balance too, then it wouldn’t be constantly changed. It’s about shifting the meta. It’s the exact same thing Destiny did. Balance will never be achieved because actual balance isn’t the goal
