Thus team simply can't fix or won't, because of low game population , but maybe just maybe if you fix your game .. people would play and stay ..
But level 80s vs 20s or less is unacceptable on all platforms

Bad Development always blame the games population, instead of actually fixing the game ...its the My.games way ...

The only way someone would be lvl 80 in bronze is if they found it too difficult to survive in higher leagues and thus couldn't progress. The game cannot make it easier for such players. Your son will rise to a higher league soon if he is good at the game. There is no special different matchmaking algorithm working against your son.

Bronze is literally the starter league. Can you imagine someone staying in it for so long as to have been able to complete their progression? They must not be very good at the game.

Your son might have found a very easy opponent instead.

Check their equipment levels ... and a level 80 ...shouldn't be matched with sub 20 level people ...that is absolutely insane if you are defending it imo...

I'm saying they have a skill issue and hence are in the bronze league at lvl 80. They'd be hoping not to go up against skilled players like your son. He should be able to spawn raid such ppl.

Claiming that's the only way is misleading. It's entirely possible to tank or seal-club simply by repeatedly leaving matches, as there's currently no system in place to prevent it. I frequently encounter multiple level 80 players in Silver matches on my alt, and it's clearly being done intentionally. This is a serious issue that’s driving players away, and it’s disappointing to see others dismiss or downplay it to players having a 'skill issue'.

if they're getting MVPs, they're on a fast track to higher leauges. The quantum griffin is one of the better builds in the game and counters maxed players easily. Ppl in the top 100 ranks use that specific build as well.

It’s the same reason it was done on the mobile version, they sit back with artillery and farm damage for easy resources, since new players have no idea how to counter it. I’ve seen it firsthand on my alt

I can only speak about this game and it’s mobile version unfortunately. Idk why ppl might feel so strongly about this particular game. I do have seen that a lot of the bad reviews seem to be from ppl who’ve barely played the game. There are also loads of ppl who enjoy it too

Not true, this is the only PC game I’ve played without any real safeguards against matchmaking abuse. It’s kind of a given that players will exploit the system, so it’s on devs to be ready for that.

I’ve played the mobile version too and they have 3 sub leagues for each league except for the highest league. They have enough players to be able to do so. Thus, matchmaking is wayy better there. I have heard from one of the most reliable sources that there was even a community driven event where ppl collected ids of tankers and submitted it to the devs and such ppl were forcefully re-leagued.

Ppl who willingly choose to fight ppl weaker than them aren’t very honourable or good at the game imho.

It was too high for them. Similarly, the right players will find this game enjoyable. I know a certain someone who flew across the training arena at >500kmph in a flame fenrir. I feel someone with such skills would never tank to seal club and would welcome an opportunity to brawl with the best players in the game.

I really don’t think the skill ceiling is high at all, if anything, the map design discourages dynamic play and favors static tactics. That, in my opinion, is a major reason why player retention is so low.

Hey…those are some very valid points!! So I’d like to take an example from the mobile version cuz it’s easiest for me to relate to that game. Basically since we have a large player base, we have an option to choose which mode we wanna play. So most ppl (including myself) who like an active and engaging game play the beacon related modes or the newer ‘Push’ mode. The ppl who like to camp play the static mode only. So the game offers opportunities to all types of players.

Which brings me back to another point i may have missed making before that once the player base increases, we might have such options in this game as well/

Honestly, I wouldn’t be opposed to that but they’d still need to rework the maps so they’re not a problem for objective-based modes. Playing Spearhead on Spectrum felt awful it was like shooting fish in a barrel. 😆

Initially, even players in the Bronze league were paired up against the top skilled players. Since the game has come a long way since then, the leagues are separated till the Gold league atm. Once we have a larger playerbase, more leagues would eventually get separated and the top skilled players would fight only each other. I feel they would also enjoy such games more cuz of the challenge it would present to them. If u are familiar with the mobile version, u must be knowing that over there, cuz of the larger population of players, each league is separated from the next one rn.

I think for example, I am a wrong player for Chess. I may not be the best fit for this game but I’m not a bad fit since i enjoy the matches i am in. For another example, not everyone would enjoy Soccer but might prefer to play Golf. I am using such a concept to define a ‘right’ player.

I encourage u to check out the YouTube videos of a creator called Predator. He’s in the platinum league and hence must be going up against ppl in the higher leagues. He runs his entire hangar at lvl 1.

No he’s not in any clan. He plays solo 90% of the time. If u play in a crew then ur allies show up in matches highlighted in green.

Mouse and keyboard is a whole different level to all of this with spam abilities, console simply can't do because of latency

Well, i appreciate that u have more experience with such things than me. I personally enjoy this game a lot and I’ve been playing computer games only for the last year or so and used to play games like NFS, Age of Empires etc when i was a kid, and I consider myself to be an average non competitive player who plays only in solo queue (for example, i run 2 lvl 12 tyr torsos to keep my random team mates alive longer) that is why i wonder why ppl feel so disappointed with this game. I appreciate that u have ur own reasons for feeling a certain way about the game.
