the silhouette of a pursuer is decently easy to see. You wont be able to target specific components, but simply hitting it is really easy to do. I would recommend allowing lock-ons (ghost turret, flashbang, and vortex for example) to still hit an invisible pursuer.
would still allow it to be powerful, but being hard to hit and impervious to certain weapons and gear is too much
Allowing locks with vortex would allow it to be pinged or called out and reveal its position. Not a good idea.
Something can obviously be done to prevent pinging, but the issue lies in how griffins entire purpose is preventing lock on, and adding resistance. Being not only hard to see, but impervious to certain weapons is too much for something so light and fast like pursuer
4 lighters + pursuer is near impossible to counter, you are dead before you would know where he is. And most meta slaves have 3+ in plat + rank. Stealth flamers are abusive. Devs don't know how to balance things.
Stealth being an offensive and defensive tool at the same time is too op.
It’s not a defensive tool. It’s quite easy to see, especially if you were just looking at them.
Wdym? You cannot ping or target a specific part which helps with survivability. Easy to see? No, especially when engaged with another enemy. Also only an idiot invis after being seen by an enemy lol. Smart players use cloak before engaging lol.
Exactly. It's not going to be used for defense. Even if you cannot target parts, you can still see the outline and general shape, allowing you to have a decent chance at hitting where you want. And you're not using it defensively if your target is engaged with another enemy, that's an offensive use. That's its main purpose, as an offensive tool to catch people off gaurd if you can sneak up on them.
Actually, I did successfully used it as a defensive tool getting away from enemies doing wave dash and cloak. It really depends on how you use it but for me it works offensively and defensively.
It can be used defensively. However I’d hazard to call it good in both scenarios.

Yes, but the point of invi flamers is they get the sneak attack in close range.

I think the invis should become pingable as soon as they attack.
On console, The shimmer that you see is the delay of 1-2 seconds to go full invisible. Maybe you can see on pc if you set up graphics settings i dont know but when they go full invi its hard to see when they are moving.
At a distance, maybe 100m or more, if you didn't already see them moving, you won't see one standing idle. Now, I've watched one cast invis, move the entire time, and become visable again, kept pinging his location the entire time and calling it out on voice. Other times, I'll see him cast invis, move behind a building, and never see him till he's on top of me. It's almost inconsistent how well it works.
Some smart invi flamer users jump and stay in the air and they are nearly impossible to pinpoint.
It just depends on the background, sometimes it’s harder to see depending on them being in front of a building or in the air
Especially on spectrum, can’t see anything in the air on that map
Best fix would be make ability better visible in worst conditions or always

Not to been seen by everyone, because then it’s not even considered invisibility at that point
Ita not its to op and i cant wait for your nerf they nerfed siren into the ground now its time for pursuer invisibility needs to come off after you shoot or a second or 2 after you shoot the cooldown is way to low and it lasts to long to not go out after being shot or shooting
Invisibility does not work like this in any other game its broken

Why I usually dont like invisibility:
Its very aquad to balance because good players will usually see them and that makes invisibility useless so its basically a seal clubbing tool
Most good players will start fiddling with the video settings to see invisible players better and sacrificing game quality for it
Its also a client side thing so there is not much stopping you from just replacing the shader thats executed for invisible players making it easy to effectively cheat and no anticheat ever is able to detect that
Invisibility should be a more mechanical thing and less a visual cheatable thing for example:
You are still decently visible like with scramble but
Once invisibility is active you can nolonger see the enemy robots health
and can nolonger be targeted by lockon wearpons
and for every 100 meters you are away from the enemy you take 7% less damage up to a cap of 50% kinda simulating worse hit capabilities this would make invisibility a great option for traversing long range invested areas

That’s an actual problem (the invisible shots)
Magneto should "magnet" in a close range.
Simple fix - Pursuers should take 3x damage while invisible. I didn't care until the Siren nerft, which one could argue was the counter to the pursuer’s invisibility. Since then, it’s been a pursuer seal clubbing fest.
