Seriously?, what genius thought it would be a good idea to queue gold members with diamond, plat and noachim?!, every match since reaching gold, im put against people all these ranks above me.

No one i know in gold is even really wanting to play currently, they are purposely going into matches to throw the games to be put back down to silver just so they can actually get a competing chance.

Gold is the halfway point at the moment for players. Due to the games current state.

A. The player reaches Gold, gets stomped, and figures maybe this is where they belong and still play regardless.

B. The Player hits Gold, gets stomped , notices a pattern, goes down the rabbit hole, and is now on the fence with this game .. the bomb inside you is no longer a time bomb, but now instead a pressure bomb… the right amount causes an explosion here in the forums, hoping they get it right next update.

C. The player reaches Gold, gets stomped, sees the cycle , and decides “ F this game “, “ refund!! “ , and thinks the game will never change

I was option A for 2 weeks , evolved to option B , got things off my chest, then went back option A , but no longer a Gold now. I hit Noach before this month. Yes it was hell, solo at that

More a product of player base being small, if they change it we'll be against bots, If you wanna be against bots turn off cross platform, or even opt for a region that's not on prime time, at least this way we can pick if we want real player or bot matches

actually it is also because the game refuse to make you wait more than 2 minutes before starting a game I mean if given the choice I'd rather wait to play people of my rank because it is not fun either to stomp the other team after getting a bit of skills in the game

literally this!, im rarely waiting 45 seconds for a queue, and then im thrown in a match where i dont even want to be in. im happy to wait a few more minutes to get a full match of people my level

And some genius decided that I need to play in the gold league with zero upgraded hangar, when the place of a such hangar is in bronze. And being with a such hangar in gold I have to fight with gamers from the diamond and noachian leagues, and I have no chance against them.

Current scenario: (1. Gold+ play against others in different ranks that are largely not indicative of skill, will someone good eventually be noachium? yes. will most of those players be good before noachium? also yes. is being noachium indicative of being good? no. (2. You lock your cross play and region to generate matches against bots
Your Suggestion: (1.Casual removes elo from the matchmaking and you go back to playing against people that would otherwise be, or eventually be noachium. (or it has a separate casual elo (most games actually have this without telling you) and youre in the same scenario youre currently in) (2. You queue ranked and you continue to do what youre already doing. The only additional change this creates is both casual and ranked have more bots due to the playerbase being further split.

yep, increases match making time could create scenarios where some matches are better placed, by allowing more people to end up in matches against similar elo, in a game that far and large dosnt have a skill based elo system. i guess the question worth asking is how much benefit does this actually create, and how long are you willing to wait for each match for that margin of benefit. Obviously this problem will be improved (but not go away without further adjustments) as the playerbase grows, both in numbers and in knowledge.
