Why are we just saying to nerf "X" instead of giving actual reasoning as well what as what should be chnaged.
Just saying to nerf "X" does no good.
Right now every single match is every one runnign Noricum on multiple bots, it's clearly most overpreforming weapon, too much spread, too much shield damage, too safe to use in current meta, direct damage projectiles deal full damage not just ground AoE
So what's the proposed change
Options are: Decrease shield damage, Decrease overall hit area, decrease fire rate, prolong flight time. Pick any of those two for start, then do round of testing
However I believe if devs will look into usage time compared to any other weapon it will be clear outliner and any description of issue really isn't necessary, it's completely out of whack and you can see it after playing 10 matches (and that even includes fact that it is not weapon that is accessible from start or through any easy to obtain package)
Only acceptable nerf is fire rate (not reload tho, just the time between bursts)
There are counters to this y’all just suck
Multiple abilities and chests counter this as well as weapons like shot guns and flame
it’s just to get less players using it
in 1v1 situation, sure, not in actual combat where this weapon is completely overpreforming compared to how safe it is to use, again, there is empirical proof in how many people is using it
Agreed , tho I believe reducing shield damage would be enough. For the rest of it , there are counters.
Not really, but I am happy with simply "wait and see", but right now this game is burning player base on that easily fixable nonsense. One of reason why just lowering shield damage wont do is because how efficient at suppression and keeping shield tapped (out of regen) it would still be. Right now it's both strategical and tactical weapon. Its usefulness go far beyond "does lot of damage", it also forces constant fuel burn and since Fire rate is high it's war of attrition that Noricum will eventually always win.
It should be a big nerf to shield damage , and then make small tweak and nerf to it
if it can stil pepper massive area while keeping all shields tapped while zoning that area, WHILE doing it out of safety it will STILL be broken and will get properly nerfed later while this whole nonsense will be just prolonged. But whatever, plenty of other stuff to play, can wait for "I told you so". It has to be: Shield damage + Fire Rate OR Area OR Flight time
I started to play this game a few days after it came out. Had a blast for a few days, mostly all wins. Then the next couple days I started to get pelted by snipers. No one on our match making team ever ran snipers, or weren’t good at it. So I built a sniper. Two Zeus’s pretty basic but got the job done. Sniper builds got more prevalent and I got a noricum. Made an artillery machine. Nice, no more snipers. Indirect fire becomes boss. Built a flamer to counter. Flamers have always been a problem but not when my sniper scope is on them. It’s a snake eating its own tail. Where do you stop asking for nerfs and just start thinking and watching the battle field.
I’m going to post this on every nerf something chat. Get good scrubs.
Or maybe stop sitting in one place camping or im gonna drop some rocks on your head. I rarely get caught by the noricum. It does happen but rarely. There’s plenty of cover and the single shell has no real aoe so find a roof.
It has nothing to do with capping
Or make one with umbrella or flash bang them and push or go invisible and wreck their back line
issue is with how efficient it is at zoning
it can literally single handedly stop the pushes and protect over snipers

I am sorry, I have no mood to argue with silver league scrubs about something that will OBVIOUSLY get nerfed, if it is the only weapon you can use and that's why you are defending it so desperately, that's on you, bye
It can be aimed. It’s called well timed shots like every rocket in the game.
Rockets have way longer travel time (hence the flight time nerf) do way less damage, cover way smaller area and can be juked.. ffs
