so yesterday when i was falling asleep, i thought about how cool the firing range is in terms of design. I was thinking, why dont we just make it a playable map called „Training Grounds“. I think it would be so cool and it would literally be like pilots in the academy going through a simulation of live combat. When the robots die, they should also have that holocraphicy rubble.

For BR. Beaconplacements would be the following:
A - where the robots are shooting each other
B - sniper distance on the firing range
C - where the moving target is
D - the speed run course
E - the 1v1 arena

Kinda reminds me of the Titanfall 2 map where it's just a simulation and some of the walls have a similar texture to the ones in the firing range in WRF

also, idk if its a bug but in the firing range you can reach much higher speeds than in-game, sure, its even terrain but still

The idy pilot skill called „momentum“ gives 1 speed stack for every ability use, this allows a player to reach speed of over 400km/h with all speed abilities and orochi legs, yet in-game i cannot go above 280

this would also be the most enclosed map in the game, making elim and tdm much more active and less sniper and campy like

take orochi for example, it starts at 116 and with full momentum stacks (6 ability uses) ends up at 200 km/h base speed, please keep this permanent in game, idy isnt so strong and it could really bring him back into somewhat meta

I mean, when in a game where you have orochi legs are you realisticly gonna use 6 abilities before making a wrong turn and dying
