(Please keep in note that this is an Idea/Concept. This is not official information in any, shape, or form).

Introducing the new Mouth compartment. This new compartment will give a small add-on to a robot's firepower. There are 3 mouth compartments: Artillery Beak, Standard Beak, and Defensive jaw.

  • Artillery Beak: Artillery Beak performs similarly like a normal weapon. However, if a robot's setup has One type of weapon equipped, then the artillery beak will fire that exact type of weapon (Eg. 4x scatters will alert the beak to also fire a scatter-like round). The beak will have a smaller and much weaker firepower than the standard weapon to suit balancing.

  • Standard beak: The standard beak is a small melee tool that will allow the user to hit the enemy with the beak if the user decided to dash and collide with the robot.

  • Defensive Jaw: Defensive Jaw is a defensive compartment that will give the user a small shield wall that protects to torso and mouth compartment of the robot. The shield can be easily destroyed and it will take a small time for it to regenerate.

Introducing the new hand-to-hand melee weapons. These two new melee weapons are: Claws and Talons.

How will they be equipped? Through "Attachments" for the legs and shoulder compartment (Weapons can be added but it might be difficult due to weight and energy). (Haven't thought of a proper way but this is just a placeholder for now).

  • Claw - Claw is a standard melee that is able to claw enemies and deal large close range damage. This weapon is able to shred energy shields but it might have a hard time handling armor due technology limitations.

  • Talons - Talons are a legs-compartment weapon that is able to strike the enemy from above. Much like how talons from birds work, if a user is in the air with talons equipped, they will deal damage the second it makes contact with the enemy. The higher you are, the more damage it deals (with a Damage cap).

Woah this sounds cool and confusing

Where do these go?
Are they weapon slots?

They go on the "Attatchments" section of the shoulder compartment and legs compartment (depending on the melee). They are weapons that take up weight and energy (mostly weight but it's not a lot). You can still add weapons to the shoulders, you just gotta be mindful of the weight and energy as usual.

Hmmm I see...

#

It would have to take mostly energy rather than wight tho...since most builds have not enough weight

Seeing the talon weapon idea makes me think of the Manntreads from TF2, without more air control lmao
