#YARDAGE MARKER INACCURATE

This sounds normal to me. I have a different driver but the flag always defaults to a distance of 240. From the screenshot you shared I see a tailwind of 11-13 with a slight push left. May I suggest 3-5 clicks of backspin and cheat your aim a little right. Of course, d there are any bumps or knowls out in the fairway you can land on the downslope of, adjust for that.
For longer clubs, 240 yards is the default aim marker placement to keep the aim marker easy to access.
My previous driver was the Calloway AI Smoke, and the distance marker defaulted to 287. That was also the distance in the bottom left hand corner.
It’s a bug @tropic onyx
The distance marker should default to 291 (like the example of the 287 yards for his previous club). It annoys all of us because every drive we need to move the aimer considerably. I’m guessing when this club was brought out there’s a setting somewhere that hasn’t been filled in and as such it defaults to 240y
240 is fine for the low level clubs, but this one should not be showing that
Ill pass along the suggestion but its intended for longer drivers to have a default aim marker placement in the middle of the fairway at 240 yards.
It’s always been that way, the only Drivers that default to actual distance are Callaways. I don’t see the big deal, it’s not like you’re not going to drag/drop the Aimer anyway, unless you are using the WRNJR Super Off-Ding method to aim
No, all the other big drivers use the correct placement. Just the L102 that everyone uses is off. It’s possible another one has this bug but for sure all the ones I ever used were fine until that one
First world problem but anything you need as part of your routine (move the toptracer, move the aimer 100 yards) feels like it’s undesirable ,
I get what you're saying. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I move the aimer every shot anyway to, well, aim 😉, so that one is much different than the toptracer one to me.
And I don't have concrete proof about the different drivers and what they show as default, but I know the L90 TM showed 240 even though it was 285, and the L96 Cally showed the actual 287 - I had both of those. I never had the L99 TM but was told it also showed 240 just like the L90 and L102.
So it might be a bug with the L96 Ai Smoke driver itself. Checked it against the older L96 Rogue and L96 Epic Flash (same stats) and they are defaulting correctly to the 240 yard aim marker placement. I'll let the team know about it.
Here’s the older L96
Something got lost when the stats (and price 😉) got upgraded
And the L85
And even the Hickory driver (which is based on I believe the L77 ish Taylor Made that has the same stats)
So the new ones are missing something
yeah, thats strange, it should be uniform one way or the other. reaching out to the team about it. It probably wont be corrected one way or another for current clubs but future clubs would see the correction.
