Different courses have different rough in certain spots. Play Bethpage sometime and miss the fairway by that much - you'll be lucky to get 30/40, but likely 40/50. And yes, I can confidently say it's not a bug - it's been that way forever

This is not a bug, it's a feature. An unpopular one, like the poor distance you get hitting out of a fairway bunker, but a feature nonetheless
What WGT Nico has asked for, is any evidence of the visuals being off, i.e. when the ball is visually in the rough but the game says the lie is 'bunker'

These are US open courses. While that far off the fairway thankfully is usually fine where I play, you can expect some savage punishment on a US Open track. Miss at Merion and it’s usually 40/50

Entertaining this tread 😂. I don’t work for WGT so don’t take it wrong. But I have been playing this game for almost a 1000 days, and has seen some weird discrepancies.
No computer game anywhere in the world is perfect because they ate created by humans that writes the coding….. and we can all agree “us” humans are not perfect.
So in my opinion you can either stop playing the game, or enjoy the drama that comes with it.
No PGA player argues with the PGA officials when there ball lands in the rough 😂🤣
