Mussels are picked up from the ground and not from fishing, so they should instead be listed under Ingredients in the Collections section, just like scallops in the Valley.

Issue: (Previously reported for updates 11-13) Despite having enough level 10 fishing companions that the number of bonus fish should be almost +4 every time, occasionally my companion fails to give any bonus at all. It's not super frequent, but happens often enough to be noticeable. In addition, the companion does not earn any companion experience, so the problem must be that the game temporarily forgets we are hanging out for some reason. I've never observed similar behavior with any other activity (e.g., mining or foraging) it seems to be uniquely a fishing problem.

Issue: I was fishing from a white bubble in Teapot Falls, the pond just to the ramp the leads to The Beanstalk Marshes. I didn't receive the fish and switched to a new bubble (gold).

Fishing spot spawned in a rock in the Grasslands. Normally trying to cast a fishing rod into a rock will not work.

Issue: in Mythopia, in the fountain, one of the dual-fires formed, but is unable to be reached with the watering can from the edge.

Issue: Storybook duty says to catch 3 fish in Mythopia. I've caught 2 mudskipper, 4 squid, 7 seahorses and none of these have triggered the duty to completion. After some thought, I tried just free fishing outside of pools and caught 3 flying fish, which did trigger the duty to completion. Its worth mentioning, however, because the mudskippers are labeled as fish in both their tooltip and in collections.

Issue: Ripples not respawning in Forest of Valor, save for by the waterfall near the Plaza. Taking forever to catch those 10 perch because of it.

**Issue: ** Fish "explosions" due to well-fed bonus are not the same as the fish you caught. I just caught a crab and the explosion fish were tilapia. Same is happening almost everytime I get it. -

**Issue: ** Ripples take forever in most biome locations (where they spawn) to respanw. I'm not sure if this is intended. For example, in Frosted they respawn quickly in the pond, but take forever to respawn in the 3 spots in the river.

Issue: Fishing circle spot in Frosted Heights next to the cave has not spawned a fishing circle in weeks. This is making the crab task in the star path especially difficult since I’m only fishing between three circle locations now.

The waters in frosted Heights are not spawning crabs I’m getting a lot of salmon and a couple other kinds of fish but no crabs and I’ve been trying to do this for a couple days and I’ve had no luck with crabs just other kinds of fish

Issue: Shrimp and Snail spawn rates seem highly, highly diminished after latest update. Have spent hours fishing only to catch 1 or 2 of each in each zone.

While trying to work on the “Catch Fish from Mythopia” task, nothing seems to be causing it to go up. I keep catching hippocampus and Stygian mudskippers and the attainment number remains unchanged.

Occasionally while fishing, once you've "caught" the fish successfully, nothing happens. No fish is caught, the ring disappears, and you've wasted energy for no fish.

Rarely see blue circles in Dazzle Beach, but when I do, none of them give me shrimp. I only get Kingfish and Herring.

Fugu festive fish spawned but when I go to fish and get in the circle it doesn't let me fish it. At dazzle beach in the rain. But I can fish around it.

Fishing in Mythopia still not counting toward duties. Others have mentioned it over a month ago on other platforms.

I went fishing the other day with Dshafar and I didnt pick them up right a away. And now they just lay there for days because I cant pick them up. 🥲 Picking up other fish was no problem at all.

I am having the same issue with the Squids. My Forgotten Lands are covered in Squids I can't pick up.
***I was able to pick mine up with the shovel and pocket it, but it took energy to do so.

I cannot get any fish. I cast in the ripples, the X appears to hit X, I do that and the line breaks and I get absolutely nothing. My patience is wearing thin. This has been going on for over a week now and I cannot complete the Dreamlight duties or the event duties. Please fix. It is happening an all my consoles…Xbox X series, switch and steam deck.

Issue: It's pretty much been a month and it seems like the Crab fishing spots in Frosted Heights is still an issue. I'm trying to do the Star Path and am getting frustrated from not getting any Crabs.
