I really want to see Giselle in the game. She is such a fun an funny character who doesn’t get any representation at all from Disney.. despite almost being a Disney Princess! Of course I don’t think there is anyone in this world who wouldn’t prefer her to be in her animated design because it’d be uncanny having a super realistic woman roaming the valley😅. Anyways, her unlocking quest should definitely revolve around the Princesses who are in the game at the time she comes into the valley, doing a task or simply leveling them all up to level 10 (to give more reason to level some characters up) would be good enough to make it feel like a grand welcome. It’d also be pretty funny if she came out of the manhole like in the film. She should totally come with a new dress tailoring mechanic to help players make more unique and colorful (or even edgy) outfits! She also could add some comedic elements to conversation in the valley just to add that little bit more of humor around town! on a minor side note, though not mandatory It’d be much appreciated to have Robert as-well. Mostly because I hate having couples split up in my valley but also because Disney keeps coupling her with the guy she doesn’t even end up with in the film for no reason! But again, I can understand that most players probably don’t want just some average man wandering their valley. but Giselle is a MUST HAVE!✨ (also she has the opportunity for a lot of dream styles) 👑

Dolores could easily be very helpful in the valley and in a lot of quests as an in-between. She could start quests by saying she overheard the villains whispering about meeting somewhere private so we should investigate. She would give Merlin a break from being the initiator of many of the quests. She could say something’s got Donald more upset than usual since he’s throwing more tantrums than normal, or something like I hear Merlin tugging on his beard again something must be troubling him. We could get prompted to go to her for info about things happening in the valley during other quests like to see if she hears where someone is hiding in the valley or where an object fell in the water, etc.
As for Camilo he would bring so much personality to the Valley. His ability to turn into other humans would allow some interesting quests to be made. Especially if he teams up with vanellope and stitch. He could cause harmless mischief if he disguises himself as Anna telling everyone how gross Chocolate is, or walk around as Ariel signing out of tune. He would allow for human characters to be used in fun ways that the characters wouldn’t usually do. You could even have an instance where characters are talking to themselves (aka disguised Camilo) with those text boxes, like it’s so odd to see yourself outside of a mirror, or is that how I really look? Or they can simply ask him to change back immediately! Mother Gothel could say, “Camilo you’ve almost never looked better! But next time get it right, I don’t have any wrinkles! Do it right or get out of my sight darling! Tah Tah now. He would also be good at hide and seek if you ever wanted to bring that mini game to the valley! As a bigger thing he could walk around looking like our character. You could make him re-disguise himself if we change outfits by doing a unique animation like twirling and cocooning up in his poncho like how the forgotten rises up from the ground each time too

I’d honestly be surprised if Atlantis didn’t play a larger role in the future just because of how much of the Valley lore is based on the “ancients” and Eternity Isle’s landing. Would be fun to involve Milo/Kida in storyline to learn more about the ancient civilization! Kida’s action animation could be using her staff like Mulan current does, Milo could read the Shepard’s Journal.
Also Treasure Planet. Jim and Silver would be such a cool addition! Silver is a villain with a lot of depth so he could have a fun arc. Could have their quest lines be about Silver trying to earn Jim’s trust again. Jim could learn to be more confident in his abilities.

I really hope they consider this for the next/one after the next DLC. I'm not sure how many more tools or chores I want to do, so I think I would rather do without some sort of fetching method and instead have the opportunity to go underwater. So I would happily overlook something like snippet catching or time bending in favour of just being able to dive underwater. The fairy flying animation seems like it could be adapted to an underwater setting, I think. Underwater decor items like small and large coral reefs, sunken ships, similar item to the fireflies but schools of tiny fish etc.

I've only just started but after a google search just to confirm they aren't in it (only their drawings are), I'd love to see Rafiki in the game. Rafiki is the monkey in Lion King. He was one of the primary characters. I'd also love to see Zazu, the bird, another primary character in Lion King.
Zazu would bring a new type of being to DDV, a flying one. Rafiki could be a tree-swinger, another idea I had was making Shenzi a character in DDV. Shenzi was the lead Hyena who reported to Scar. I feel like Shenzi would be another dark-side (not Star Wars 
) character.
Just my two cents. I'm not well versed on DDV, I love the game but I'm a complete noob haha. 🙂

Regarding live action villagers. Please announce a hard commit either way. Either they are on the table or they aren’t. What I DO NOT want is this notion I’ve heard (not here but elsewhere) suggesting “an exception for Jack Sparrow”. In my opinion that would be the WORST take. It wouldn’t be fair to fans of Mary Poppins, Tron, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete’s Dragon, Mighty Ducks, Hocus Pocus, etc, to go “no because we’re not doing live action” when meanwhile Jack Sparrow is parading around like a drunk fool on everyones valley. Either it’s animated only, or you are opening up a can of worms and you need to own it. A special exception to satisfy one and only one fanbase is not the way to go.

i think the best way to do any "live action" if Gameloft feels they MUST be included is making them available in a DLC so those who REALLY don't want them do not have to have them. I'd really like to see some descendants characters come in as well, I know a lot don't like the idea of live action joining the Valley, however descendants does have a animated movie that occurred after the third, before rise of red, and a mini series that occurred during the first two I believe, and it wouldn't be that hard to write them in as a good handful of their parents are already in the Valley/Vale/Isle.
As far as the Live Action argument goes in general though, I don't see it as that big a deal, and at the end of the day gameloft will do what they want to do, they've already tested the waters on the live action characters in their other game Disney Magic Kingdoms, perhaps they simply add a feature from that game, which allows you to have characters you don't want to deal with, return to their realms.

As he's a send-up of classic pulp serials from the '30s and '40s (and the 1991 film adaptation is a cult classic in its own right), I think he'd bring some high-flying action to the Valley's escapism; I also think it'd be very fun to be able to fly around the Valley using his Rocketeer jetpack

If minor characters are not going to introduced into the game as villagers, please add more of them as decor like you did the Sushi Octopus from Monsters inc. I love walking past it, because it moves and adds "life" to the village. I'd love more characters and animals (for example horses like Maximus from Tangled, or Khan from Mulan, or various larger dogs if they cannot be companions) to place around the Valley. Just think about all of the centaurs from Fantasia lounging around Mythopia! This might be a good compromise to have more Disney characters as part of the game.

I would love to see Tigger added. A friend and I came up with a fun idea how he could teach us how to jump and there could be an area, maybe in the castle, with procedurally generated jumping puzzles. I think Max would be a great addition to the valley but I would use the original Max. He would make a great friend for The Forgotten. He is experiencing many of the same feelings. I think that his questline could also help our Forgotten storyline.
Max is welcomed into the valley and is infatuated with another character. He could have a crush or maybe is just impressed by Mauis muscles. He’s trying to impress said character by showing off his dance skills when Goofy shows up and shows everyone that it’s really his fishing stance. Someone refers to him as kid. Max feels dejected.
Max uses Forgotten as a soundboard as he describes his feelings to Forgotten. As things like that happen in the valley Max slowly becomes purple and swirly.
Forgotten becomes worried as they see Max turning into themselves. They go through the process of talking to Merlin, Fairy Godmother and Goofy. They watch how Goofy works through this situation with his son. Max returns to normal. The Forgotten dreams of one day becoming a guidance counselor and opening a crisis center to help teenagers with their feelings.

We have many modern Disney characters, but few classic characters. They are the soul of Disney and they are the ones who made Disney this giant dream factory. They deserve more attention. I'm 50 years old, but i looks like 35 😅 and i love this game so much, because Disney was a very important part of my childhood. And i grew up loving the classic characters, the old ones. I'd really like to be able to hang out with the Forgotten. It feels a bit insulting that they've been.... well, forgotten after the main story quest is over. Let us hang out with them, give them gifts, same as any other villager.
I also realize the emotions surrounding them may be triggering to some players, so also give us the option to toggle the Forgotten on/off. That way, if they're presence is triggering to a player, they have to option to remove them from the valley. But me personally, I'd like the option to actually play the game alongside them.

The Evil Queen and the Magic Mirror. The Magic Mirror is a central piece in the plot of Snow White. It could be a special piece of furniture, which could be placed inside our houses or outside, and given its magical and esoteric nature, implicit in its symbolism of the 12 houses of the zodiac signs, and because of its sentient nature, it could give us daily quests, and whose rewards could be a good amount of Dreamlight every day, (5000 for example and many players have asked for an extra way to get Dreamlight). There would be 12 quests alternating daily involving helping some villagers to feel special or happy.

Fflewddur Fflam could play his harp with Stitch & Kristoff. Taran & Mulan could have sword battles, Princess Eilonwy is an awesome independent princess. Gurgi is just cute and I love creepy stuff. Horned King would be great for creepy dark castle stuff.

I would love to have Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. You could maybe do a couple of the dwarfs then put the rest of them in a bundle in the premium shop that way for the ones that want all 7 they can have them and for the ones that just want a couple could just have a few. Like maybe dopey doc and grumpy could be added then have the other 4 dwarfs in a bundle so everyone is happy. I would also love for Cinderella, Pocahontas, and Winnie the Pooh to come to the game.

This isn't really a character I'd like to see, as they're already here, but I can't think of a better place to put it, sorry.
Please let us do more with the Forgotten! The Forgotten is supposed to be this extra special Villager in my eyes, but instead you can only go through a handful of dialogue.
Some options include, at the very least, hanging out with them and giving them gifts/having favorite things of the day. I would absolutely be delighted to hang out with the Forgotten; I feel bad that they're always alone! (Even though that's sometimes what they prefer.) I'd hang out with them 24/7, oh my gosh!
Some extra special things;
- The Forgotten could help you Rule the Valley; after all, they were/are you, and also the Ruler/Old Ruler!
- Like Remy and, for a while, Ursula, daily quests! (Maybe regarding the ruling of the Valley!)
- Being able to do activities together. We already have Oswald mining, and all the characters fishing, maybe the Forgotten could actually do those activities (at least off screen so they don't mess up fishing/mining spots etc) and give you some resources now and then!
- Speaking of giving stuff to you, they could give YOU gifts as well, like they did in their quests!
- Let them have different outfits, like us! They can choose how they look themself, creating a little individuality. Additionally, to keep them like us, maybe have them in the same outfit that we're in!
I'm about to run out of character space I'm guessing, but I have many more ideas. The bottom line is, like (I think) many of us, I feel like the Forgotten truly has been Forgotten. I can't wait to see what's in store with the new update regarding them, as they're my favorite character in the Valley of all time! But I do hope we'll be able to do more and more with them soon! :)

The level 10 quest of Mad Hatter could be to help him to recreate the iconic scene of the Tea Party, gathering materials to craft the table, getting a new recipe and ingredients for new type of teas, inviting Alice, White Rabbit and the March Hare to the Tea Party and we take a photo, the reward after that, for sure, should be the table decorated with the Tea Party items, and we can create a special place in our valley decorating that with the table (Tea Party Area in Wonderland) and can be a good theme for a Dreamsnap.

also if Charlotte is added, instead of giving her the La Bouff mansion that’s available in the premium shop, maybe she could have a smaller house that’s still elegant and classy? my reasoning for this idea is that a) having two houses in our valley would feel weird and b) Charlotte had a lot of character development in the movie. she realized being a princess like she wanted wasn’t everything, and she could be happy just like Tiana was happy. although it wasn’t explicitly stated (since it’s Tiana’s movie after all her character development wasn’t as obvious) it’s clear she learned a lot about happiness.
my idea for Charlotte coming to the valley would be opening a realm for Tiana where Naveen, Charlotte, and Facilier are, maybe the reason being Tiana urged Charlotte and Naveen to go to avoid the forgetting (maybe she made an excuse and convinced Naveen to go watch over her restaurant in New Orleans to protect him). now she thinks it’s safe to bring them back, and asks us for help bringing back her friend and husband

(Hope this is the right place to put this) I feel like there should be a third character type. Something similar to what the Forgotten is now. Characters that have too much personality to be a critter companion, but wouldn't work super well as a full fledged villager. Carpet is a very good example of this. Its just sad seeing him float around as a critter. Completely devoid of his expressive personality.
Other characters that could lend well to this would be Maximus, Pascal, Pluto, Sven, Crickee, Flit, Meeko, etc.
You could interact with them, have them follow you around, but you wouldn't have the whole tier/level up system, or questline.

This is for Cinderella welcome to the Valley: the Fairy Godmother shows up with Jack Skellington, asking for his help to save Cinderella from being forgotten. Jack hides her inside a pumpkin to protect her, but then forgets which one it was. So he asks us for help to find her.
It’s actually a really great idea because it’s not the usual repetitive story where a character from the same tale has to help another return. This is a crossover between characters who have a thing in common pumpkins, and honestly, I think it’s a genius concept. I truly hope someone brings it to life someday.

Tinkerbell and other pixie hollow fairies, there is SO much potential with them its insane!!
Some examples me and my friend have come up with:
- Introduce Peri (Tinks sister) and have a questline to unlock her ice machine so she can travel around the valley
- As Tinkerbell is a tinker, she could give us random items daily, similar to what you've done with Remy
- Fawn could give us random animal facts and tips/tricks to help with the critters
- Silvermist could introduce a watering can upgrade of some kind
- Rosetta can introduce more flowers into the valley such as poppies and fix the dreaded spawn rate of flowers😩
- Vidia could accidently cause tornadoes or disasters around the valley and leading on from potential disasters, you could have Zarina messing with dreamlight magic as she used to experiment with pixie dust??
- The fairies will only "jingle" (similar to wall-e having certain sounds) as in the movies we cannot understand them and there could be a questline to help understand them
- FLYING MECHANICS ???
and the PERFECT way to introduce them into the game would be to have Merlin capture Tinkerbell whilst she's out adventuring, this or another villager captures her but it would make more sense for Merlin as he is all about studying magic etc

I AGREE!! It feels like we cannot have a disney game, like a good Disney game without getting star wars thrusted upon us. A separate dlc for just star wars alone wouldn’t bother me as it would give us that option to avoid letting it into our valley while giving those who probably do want it a chance to get them! Star Wars (and Marvel, for that matter) have no place in the valley. This is a Disney game, and while yes, you can argue up and down that these properties are now owned by Disney, they are not in the same genre as the Disney and Pixar characters that have homes in the valley. The reverse is also true. Can you imagine Knights of the Old Republic with a surprise appearance from Elsa? How about Marvel Rivals with Cinderella in the line up? Those would be completely unacceptable additions to those games for very good reason, and the same thing is true for DLV. Additionally, I strongly feel like the storylines of these characters would shatter the cozy vibe of the game. Jedi and superheroes would be bored to tears with nothing to engage in combat with, and they have enemies that can't be defeated realistically with nonviolence like the storylines DLV has had so far. And thirdly, no one on the planet has ever said "I'm going to go see the new Disney movie" and meant Marvel or Star Wars.

Sora (and maybe Kairi) from kingdom hearts, Just hear me out. The way they appear in game is from a single papou fruit washing up on the shore of dazzle beach, and we have to recruit Donald and goofy to help us find their friend. And with the papou fruit we could also have Merlin use his magic to track where it came from, launching us to find Sora and maybe Kairi in maybe Ariel’s island on their own raft as a call back to the first KH game. And we have to help reel them back into the valley. Soras quests could literally be about connection, and could maybe tie in w/the forgotten after the summer update as well…since some of us who are kingdom Hearts fans have stated or well Believed that the forgotten is kinda like our nobody. As someone who enjoys Star Wars, I agree that it does not belong in this specific game. I like the choice option they're giving with the premium shop items for may the 4th, so it's not forced on those who absolutely DO NOT want it. I would prefer this specific game stay cozy with Disney/Pixar. There are lots of classics still missing that need to be added and have been requested.
This also goes for Marvel - please DO NOT make it something forced on those who do not want it. Personally I can't stand Marvel and it would ruin a lot of the game for me.
Any of the acquired (Star Wars, Marvel, etc) franchises should be strictly choice options or not included at all. Forcing any of these will likely result in loss of players and loss of interest in the game, making it hard to bring people back.

Instead of spending time, creativity and money creating Star Wars content for a game focused on fairy tales and talking animals, focus on what really makes up the identity of the game itself? Which is what Walt Disney and Pixar created together. Can you all spend the time, creativity and money on characters like Robin Hood, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, Cinderella and her Prince, Pooh and Christopher Robin with their gang, Lilo and Nani PLEASE?. If Gameloft starts putting all their focus on Star Wars, it will take longer and longer for all of us to see the characters we want in the game.

Hi, I have an idea. Many people would love to see characters from Once Upon a Time, Star Wars, or Marvel, but understandably, others prefer to keep the focus on classic Disney characters. A good solution could be to introduce these other characters through optional DLCs. These DLCs could be smaller than the ones we’ve received previously (like Rift in Time).
That way, there would be two types of DLC: one aimed at a specific part of the community (those who enjoy Star Wars, OUT, Marvel), and another that appeals to the broader community. This could be a great compromise.

I'm not that fan of thoses but I know many peoples are so I thought of a big DLC like a pass or something that will be updated for a long time with movies like Starwars/pirate of the caribbean and stuff characters and another one with Marvel superheroes and vilains.
Of course they would be splited for the disney animations characters and won't interact with them. It's more a way to not make others games. Some games do that it's a part of the game but it's also another game if you are only interested in the Dlc without playing the main game.

Hard agree with the Pocahontas and Hunchback characters. The solution to potentially problematic representation in older movies isn't to pretend the characters don't exist -- that's just erasure. The solution is to represent them respectfully in this game

I know some characters are more classical and more important in the history of Disney, but they are already suggest by the other. So I suggest James Henry trotter (in stop motion, not in flesh and bones), Miss Spider (my both favorite characters). Also Mr. Grasshopper, Mr. Centipede, Mrs Ladybug, Mr Earthworn, Mrs. Glowworn from James and the giant peach. I would have suggested them long before if I had known that the film was produced by Disney.
