I think it is because her dimple is quite deep. At a distance, the shadow/crease can make it look like she's frowning or old. Sorry, having a hard time explaining it.

Issue: Occasional Belle problem
This happened to be yesterday after I asked Belle to spend some time with me while I was questing. I did some things, turned around and she wasn't there at all. I had to find her and ask her again. I thought maybe I had imagined it but it just happened again so what happened is fresh in my mind.
I asked her to join me then teleported down to the meadow. When I looked around she wasn't there so I looked at the map and she was by the main well. I went to her and had to ask her to join me again.
I am not sure if it is just a problem with the Belle model, if fast travelling caused it or what, I wanted to get what happened down while it was fresh in my mind and haven't had time to experiment.

Sometimes when Beast is sleeping but Belle is not, and Belle is in the Beast's castle house.
During such times I can go into the Beast's castle, talk to Beast and ask him to follow me, then walk out of the castle with him.
Seems like this shouldn't be allowed because it breaks the mechanic where sleeping characters cannot be disturbed.
But on the other hand, if I could not enter the castle, then Belle, who is not sleeping, becomes inaccessible.

Issue: Beast unfollows when fishing. When I start fishing, he waves goodbye and starts walking away. When I stop/am done fishing, Beast comes running back and resumes following me. Also his friendship does not update either during fishing since he unfollows
*Edit to add this issue only happened during “The Beast with no Bite” quest, and it didn’t matter whether I was tracking this quest or tracking a different quest.

Issue (Include NPC Name): all NPCs - when I started the game, the valley was pretty lively and I could hear Donald from some distance when he had his tantrums. I loved it. Now Donald just falls silently, there's no sound (and my settings didn't change). No NPC seems to say anything any longer. And I am not the only one with that issue. If you silenced ALL NPCs because some people complained, that's just not okay. That's what sound settings are for. Give people the option to silence NPCs or hear them - don't just assume everyone wants a dead, quiet valley.

Hello, Ursla/Vanessa totally disappeared from my map 24 hours ago. I have restarted everything, shut my xbox down. I have been patient and waited but she has not come back. I cannot do any of the quests. I have tried to toggle between characters but nothing happens / none of them come out of the fountain. Im really annoyed as I also purchsaed the mansions so this is nearly 10k of moonstones ive paid near to £40 for premium items (i've used my own money this is not dreamsnap rewards) not to work properly or as they should when they were advertised before purchase.
UPDATE: I just left her quest all together and moved onto the other bundle I have bought.. once I progressed with that to the next stage "your sunday best" It asked me to meet ursla in the cursed cave. I made sure the character was on ursla which it was as I had tried to change to her earlier and nothing happened. When I got the cursed cave ursla was there. I think the issue is that even if youre not running it at the time, if another quests is asking for ursla and youre progressing with Vanessa the game doesnt like it. The problem I have is that I wasnt even doing that quest at the time the game broke, so it should not be wanting vanessa to be ursla in the background until im up to that quest? Surely. And why was none of them coming out the fountain when I was switching?

Issue: I can't hang out with Belle. Similar to the old bug which was fixed that we couldn't hang out with Fairy Godmother, I'll ask Belle to hang out, her text box will say she'd love to, then her voice line will say goodbye and she won't follow me. I was able to hang out with her initially with the new update and bringing her and Beast from the realm, this started yesterday.

Issues (minor): Ursula/Vanessa regarding her purchased bundle
1: after ursula goes to sleep in her home, if it is not connected to the shoreline, 'vanessa' gets stuck in there and can't swim out, and the player can't get to her until they move the house.
2: it's not clear with the bundle purchase, or in-game information, that you do NOT get the clothing and decoration items right away, but have to wait and finish quests to get those.
for example, the friendship level up quests have a timeline, and show the 'prizes' you get at each level up, but the special bundle doesn't have the same thing.

Update: I'm having to go through her quests again. I made the icy potion yesterday, cleared the green fires, did a few of her other quests, and now my water can doesn't work on the green fires anymore and I've got to make the potion again...
Update 2: It's not just the fairy godmother. Simba's Dreamlight tree quest also got reset. I had already planted the seed yesterday and today, the quest is reset to Search for the hidden entrance and the Dreamlight seed is gone, it's not where I planted it. For background info, i also got Belle and Beast yesterday so I'm not sure if getting new characters messed up my existing quests somehow?

Issue: I noticed that any character i hang out with just stops and stays there and doesn’t do there job. For example, elsa is my harvesting companion and when i start harvesting, she does her job for a while and then she stops, freezes, and just stands there. To unfreeze my companions, i have to go back to them, unhang out with them, hang out with them again, and then they resumes their job.

I'm not sure what happened here, but the Belle model that's currently in the game is of significantly lower quality than the promotional images or Speedstorm (another Gameloft game). She looks meek, and nothing like strong, independent Belle. 😦

Issue: this has probably already been stated but when hanging out with Beast (he’s my mining companion) he does fine walking around. The second I get to the entrance to the savanna area, he gets stuck on some sort of invisible wall and, while we’re still in hangout session, he will stop giving minerals and rocks and coal from savanna and forgotten lands. Pushing him doesn’t fix the issue and he just stands there no matter where I go until I stop the hangout
Update: the items he would find appear after the hangout is over in random places on the map

When you’re finishing up on Mystical Cave Entrance quest (Stone Slab) by Ariel in her house, she gives you the 2 clothing twice. Middle sentence and then at the final sentence to complete quest for some weird reason.

Lately the npcs run away from you / ignore you if you try to talk to them. Also blue chests aren't dropping. Npcs dont follow you when you ask them to hang out.
And when clicking through the top menu when you get to maps a bright light goes off like a camera flash. Nintendo switch version.

Issue: Just a small issue. If you interact with Goofy's Stall when he's mid-fishing then he gets stuck in an animation for a second and slides towards the stall. Not a big issue just wanted to report it anyway.

Issue: when i'm hanging out with the beast he sometimes becomes immovable on top of items I've just mined or harvested and I have to run away to get him to follow me and move off the items so that I can then pick up the items. I remember a while ago when you couldn't push NPCs out of the way but I thought that was fixed.

She never gets out of human form unfortunately. She has the same issue as a few other villagers where when I build their house I go see it and they don’t spawn with me. I can’t figure out how to get the prompt to go away for it

Every character are quiet and doesn't make any noise. This of course has been happening since last year. It does seem like it's a kind of on and off thing. But mostly off. Donald being all muted when having an outburst. Maui all quiet when he does his dance. Same thing with Stitch and other characters playing instruments. It really ruins the immersion, especially when everyone used to be very vocal. It was nice running around when you heard Mickey whistling, Ariel humming and characters greeting you. Despite reporting this for a year we still don't know if it's an intentional thing or just a bug. I sure hope it's a bug.

issue: Anna is stuck in the same idle animation on loop until I talk to her (me moving next to her got her to wave at me, but it didn't actually break the loop, I've had another occurrence a few days ago where she was stuck in the "receive a letter" animation while in her house). It took me a few minutes to observe the problem, get the screen capture program and set it to record the game, so she was stuck in this loop for a solid 5 minutes.
