Task "Give an exceptionally unexceptional Villager a favorite gift" works with Mirabelle but not Anna.
This surprised me because

like Mirabelle, Anna is "normal" and has no powers
Mirabelle previously had dialog referring to Anna as being very similar to her in that she also didn't have powers but had magical relatives

Xbox series X cannot participate because I cannot connect. FYI, there’s no lag while playing offline, but I can’t collect moonstones, buy anything from premium store, or play the star path.

I have a starpath duty that says “pick red flowers that grow only in the peaceful meadow” but no flowers are spawning in ive seen maybe two green rising penstemon thats it. Not sure if it’s because i have too many placed items in the meadow?

@marble stag you might have too much in your valley, but if you already have red daisies in your storage, you can put them in your inventory and drop them on the ground and repick them back up! that'll work for the starpath. it's easier to do that then to wait for flowers to spawn lol.

Issue: My game froze when receiving the x200 moonstone reward, it shows as claimed but I don't think I actually got them... During the freeze I also completed a duty with spending time with Mickey and it seems like I have permanent red dot on duties right now...
The game didn't unfreeze, I had to force close it

Issue : in french we have a mission ---> "Attraper un poisson dont le nom rime avec 'rang'". (You have to catch 5 fishes which name rimes with "rang")
But it's not the right fish. It should be the "hareng" (rimes with "rang") but it's the "brème". 😆

Collected the "Haunting Painting" reward but could not locate it in Furniture > Art

Also it is seriously hard to find anything in those menus especially if you know the name and are looking for it by name

EDIT: Found it in "All" furnishings, so it was unlocked, but not in the expected category. Same issue with various other items like Kinara, which is a festive light (?) but not in the Light category.

I'm playing in French and a lot of tasks are very badly translated.
I have no capture because with the help of the community I finally finished them..

The fishing riddles are mostly wrong

And for one of the last task ''cool the finest meal'' we have to eat them and not cook them.. it doesn't say to eat them.. I cooked way to many thinking it was a bug. Here goes my ingredients 😅

Anyone who is having trouble with Steam on PC, try restarting. I had a Windows update that needed installed. Not sure if that was the holdup, but I'm connected now.

I mean, in general, a restart would be a good first step for anyone to take.

Issue: Bought the 350 Moonstones from page 4 of the Star Path and it bugged out and said to try again, so I did, but now it says “This reward was already collected”. But my moonstones count didn’t change and the page still says I can purchase it.
I tried purchasing another item to see if I could but it says I’m out of candy.
This is partly correct—I should be at 0 candy (so I can’t buy anything) and it still says I’m at 35, and I should have 2,500 Moonstones, but instead it says 2,150.

Issue: Ghastly Backpack removing from inventory entirely after unequipping item after owning and wearing it since it came out, unsure where it went or what happened to it or how to get it back into my inventory after this *Edit: Upon playing with the inventory and the filters, if I turn on 'Nightmare Before Christmas' filter in the back category, it pops up again, this is the only way for me to find it. Unsure why its hiding from me. Edit 2/3: I have now discovered the backpack is in fact in the inventory, it's ~~the gown Belle gives at level 10 'Royal Gold Ball Gown'~~ when you wear any dress that causes the Ghastly Backpack to become hidden from view without digging for it with filters

Issue: wont connect to see star path or event tab in general as well as the store tab. Have tried for 4 days and on the rare occasion it will connect only lasts less than a minute before crashing again. I have working internet and tried restarting both the game and internet and logging out of game to no avail. Have also tried on a separate internet service and no change in accessing both tabs.

Confirming this worked! Thank you so much 🙂 It's been broken since the update. I contacted GameLoft and they just told me to reboot the game LOL as if I hadn't tried that. I tried literally uninstalling and re-installing the game multiple times, clearing steam cache, and this is the only fix that worked.

I tried all the same things with no success as well, I figured it couldn't hurt to delete the save and see if that helps at all. Hopefully Gameloft can figure out what happened here to prevent this annoying bug in the future.

Error: In spanish, this starpath task is translated as "cook something very refined" but the task is actually eating, not cooking

Switch- I cannot complete the catch 5 shrimp task. I’ve fished the beach and each blue pool is giving me herring every time. I’m fishing all of the colors and new pools will come up, but I cannot catch a shrimp. I also have gotten the gifting sea witch her favorite gifts twice.

Issue: Those who have stacked potions are unable to complete star path tasks. This is a very silly oversight. I am essentially locked out of finishing the star path because I cannot fish any very common fish. Please consider adding a potion toggle.
